I'm no fan of McConnell, but I gotta give his campaign credit for crafting the perfect message to defeat a younger challenger who is campaigning on a "change in Washington" theme:

"How can she present herself as a candidate for change when her first vote in Washington will be to return Harry Reid to his post as majority leader?"

This is how a 72 year-old Senator who has been in Washington for a bazillion years presents himself as a new, fresh candidate.
