Quinnipiac poll shocker: John Hickenlooper down 10
Politico ^ | 17 Sep 2014 | JAMES HOHMANN

Another surprising Quinnipiac poll out this morning puts Republican Bob Beauprez up 10 points over Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper among likely voters, 50 percent to 40 percent.

The Democratic incumbent is badly underwater in the Q poll, viewed unfavorably by 51 percent and favorably by 43 percent. Beauprez, a former congressman, is viewed positively by 49 percent and negatively by 31 percent.

Beauprez leads by 13 among independents, 50-37. And he’s neck-and-neck with Hickenlooper among women, edging him out 47-46, while carrying men by 20 points, 54-34. No one in the game really believes that Beauprez is ahead by double digits a month-and-a-half out from the election. A Denver Post/SurveyUSA poll last week had Hickenlooper up 2 points, 45-43, among likely voters. The NBC/Marist Poll in the field Sept. 2-4, showed Hickenlooper up 4 points, 43-39.

Keep in mind this is a Quinnipiac poll, which usually leans Democrat.

Maybe being a Bloomberg stooge who takes away the rights of the people of Colorado without listening to anyone from Colorado including our sheriffs wasn’t such a great idea.

It’d be quite nice if some of that momentum would transfer to the Senatorial race.

The people in Colorado who are not stoned, that is, those most likely to vote, have finally caught up with the fact that the Loopy Hick is just that, a Hickenlooper.

I don't think the Dem pollsters are above running a false poll out showing the Republicans in a walkover with the intention of blunting the intensity of anti-democrat turnout.

On the other hand, the Dems are more likely to stay home on election day.

Those pulling the wagon understand that the RINOs and the Democrats have rigged the IRS to be the Federal Personal Income Punishment Tax for individuals, and the Federal Business Income Double Punishment Tax for Businesses.

An Income Punishment Tax on Business is automatically added to the purchase price of the goods and services of that Business, hence Double Punishment to the Consumer.

For those in the wagon, they only pay once: to reimburse the Business for their Punishment Income Tax by the RINOs and Democrats.

In order for more voters to reject the Democrat Punishment Party, there will have to be a greater difference between true Republicans and the current RINO/Democrat Cabal.

How does anyone named Hickenlooper get elected in the first place? That has to be one of the most horrible names I’ve ever seen.

The republican response to that is to run a guy named Beauprez! ROFLMFAO!

I know this doesn’t REALLY matter, but for many low information voters, it probably DOES!
