India Prime Minister Narendra Modi sensibly refuses to attend yet another climate summit this one called by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon in New York for September 23, under the auspices of the United Nations, which profits handsomely from the much-exaggerated climate scare.
Environmentalists have complained at Mr. Modis decision not to attend. They say rising atmospheric CO2 will cause droughts, melt Himalayan ice and poison lakes and waterways in the Indian subcontinent.
However, the UNs climate panel, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, has already had to backtrack on an earlier assertion that all the ice in the Himalayas would be gone within 25 years, and the most comprehensive review of drought trends worldwide shows the global land area under drought has fallen throughout the past 30 years.

Scare stories are integral to the leftist agenda.
Abortion? Without it, expect it with coat-hangars in the back alley
We are shifting away from science and into the realm of religious fanaticism, where the followers of the creed, brimming with self-righteous fury, believe that they are in possession of a higher truth.
Like a religion, environmentalism is suffused with hatred for the material world and again, like religion, it requires devotion rather than intellectual rigor from its adherents.
It is intolerant of dissent; those who question the message of doom are regarded as heretics, or 'climate change deniers', to use green parlance.
And, just as in many religions, the route to personal salvation lies in the performance of superstitious rituals, such as changing a lightbulb or arranging for a tree to be planted after every plane journey.
“Scare stories are integral to the leftist agenda.”
Absolutely.
Leftists don’t only BS, they are BS.

Just like every extreme religion, berating and beheading is next. Already at the berating and name-calling stage.
Without their scare stories, Willie Soon who wrote this article, wouldn’t have made millions from the Koch Brothers, Exxon, and numerous others.
Too much money to be made by semi-scientists from government handouts for studies. They have to keep the myth alive to be able to keep getting the money. And then there are the folks like Al Gore who have invested big bucks into the hoax and stand to make billions by fooling the public/governments they need to buy into his scams and projects.
Somethng strange in that article. At the end it says:
“Willie Soon is a solar physicist and climate scientist at Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA”
at Cambridge, Mass? Wouldn’t it be “in Cambridge, Mass” or “based in Cambridge, Mass”?
I googled him and in fact he is:
“at the Solar and Stellar Physics (SSP) Division of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Mass”
It looks like the Harvard connection was snipped out of the byline, crudely.
There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a scimitar over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, Westerners, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody’s safe because Al Gore is wrong
Young people losing their minds
Getting so much resistance from what Science finds
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Global temperature is going down
What a field-day for the pausing heat
300 thousand knuckleheads in the street
Dressed like Mummenschanz and carrying signs
Mostly say Climate Change is the biggest threat -ISIS is benign
It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Belief in AGW is going down
Socialism strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you always vote D
Drive your car and youll be covered by the sea
It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Theres beheadings in your town
They can’t. It’s a religion with these folks.
They’re truth deniers.
