Per Wiki, Afghan minimum wage de jure for government workers (and de facto for private-sector workers) is 5000 afghani a month. At the current rate, that’s 88 bucks. (Although good luck getting that much if you’re a day laborer.)
Pakistani minimum is 10,000 rupee a month, or $97.28.

Almost every major employer in this country has “medical leave” as a benefit offered to their employees....some, not many are even paid leave for a set time period ....by using accrued sick, vacation time...
Male and female paid leave...
Because of liberal policies a pregnancy is treated as a medical issue and companies cannot treat men and women differently....
So because of that women do not have the right to be treated differently than men and get “paid leave” for a pregnancy.... In most cases...
The cost to pay employees both female and male with paid leave is too burdensome so special circumstances like having a baby is out of the question....
