Exclusive - Ted Cruz: Next Attorney General Must Publicly Disavow Obama's Planned Executive Amnesty
Breitbart ^ | 27 Sep 2014 | Matthew Boyle

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) told Breitbart News on Friday that he supports a plan by Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) to require the candidate to replace Attorney General Eric Holder to publicly disavow President Obama's planned executive amnesty.

“I’ll give you three answers to that, yes, yes, and absolutely yes,” Cruz said in an interview at the Value Voters Summit hosted by the Family Research Council, when asked if he agrees with what Sessions laid out in a Breitbart News exclusive Friday morning.

“One of the most troubling aspects of the Obama administration has been its consistent pattern of lawlessness. We have never seen a president who, if he disagrees with a law, simply refuses to follow it, refuses to enforce it, ignores it, or claims the power to unilaterally change it. Eric Holder and the Department of Justice has been the facilitator for this lawlessness," Cruz added.

The interview with Cruz aired Saturday afternoon on Breitbart News Saturday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125.

Sessions had said, in a statement published early Friday by Breitbart News, that the U.S. Senate should reject any nominee to replace Holder if they support the president’s planned executive amnesty.

"We need someone at the Department of Justice who will restore fidelity to our national laws and boundaries," Sessions said. "No Senator should vote to confirm anyone to this position who does not firmly reject the President’s planned executive amnesty—or any other scheme to circumvent our nation’s immigration laws—and who does not pledge to serve the laws and people of the United States.”

Holder announced his resignation on Thursday at a press conference with President Obama at his side, but he plans to stay in the position until a replacement is nominated and confirmed.

Cruz continued in the interview:

A position I am completely in agreement with.

Well stated, Mr. Cruz.

Bring back American jobs, and hire Americans.

Amnesty is already happening. In fact, the Kenyan is now luring the illegals aliens in with promises of lots of free stuff. I’m pretty sure the amnesty thing is over. The Americans lost.

Wait, let me guess.
No one will be nominated
No one will be confirmed.
Holder will be there for two more years...

Don’t know how true this is, but I was told Holder may want to stay because if he leaves, he might be easier to prosecute.

By who? Certainly the Pubbies are afraid to touch him. Putin maybe? Nah! Judge Jannine or maybe Andy Napolitano but I doubt it. I know, Judge Hardy as soon as he returns to Carville with Andy and the Mrs. Sure. That's it.

I suppose the theory is that Holder will be vulnerable if the Republicans take the Senate, but I agree that up now the Republicans haven’t been all that eager to go after anyone in this administration. Makes me wonder what consideration they are being paid to roll over.

Not only that, any GOP candidate for POTUS must swear that he will invalidate, make null and void, any “executive amnesties” illlegally made by Obama. Too many GOPe elitist Quislings would love to have it made a “done deal” by Obama, and they would roll right along with it. Jeb Bush, etc.

The Americans lost. We've been losing for years because we did not and, still will not admit, that the enemy is here. We allowed the political class to rule, instead of govern. We did this to ourselves.

Good, illegal Executive Amnesty is only brought on by not following the law in the first place.

And those who think they are getting a promised “Executive Amnesty” will eventually be deported by enforcing the law on the books.

“And those who think they are getting a promised “Executive Amnesty” will eventually be deported by enforcing the law on the books.”

I believe at some point after the current administration is gone those illegals who have benefited from a temporary lawless Obama “executive amnesty” will be found, their property seized, and deported. Then they can say Obama lied to them as well.

If the law is never enforced, the inflow of illegals will continue until nothing is left of America to fight over. I have hope that America will be restored as one nation under G-D. It can still happen.
