I know this is three months old, but first I have seen it.
Broward county is notoriously liberal, and the law enforcement chief is a Democrat.
No wonder they're trying to put in "voluntary" gun control

Broward is liberal? It sure wasn’t when I was there in the late sixties.

I’m in favor of voluntary gun control.
That’s why I practice shooting.

I suggest they voluntarily step down from office.
I’m not voluntarily relinquishing my Constitutional rights.
Screw these idiots.

Only for stores with LE contracts?? I wonder how many stores would be willing to forgo entering into such contracts. Seems to me I recall Barrett refusing to sell his 50 cal rifles to California police agencies.

No. It is more like a Protection Racket.

This is what you get when the sheriff is a party hack/failed LEO/tin badge/camera hog like Scott Israel. I am SO glad to be out of Broward County, breeding ground for future Alcee Hastings and Debbie Blabbermouth Slutz.

Yet again it’s those south east counties .
We would live in a very red state if it were not for those 3 counties, maybe they should form their new state seeing as it does not resemble much of our state.

Broward county is notoriously liberal, and the law enforcement chief is a Democrat. And there are a sh1tload of people that would benefit from lead implants.
It's been 20 years since I was in Riviera Beach on any kind of regular basis (used to sell in that area) but knowing how things evolve, I doubt I'd go unarmed anytime I was around there now. What a crap hole that whole stretch of Broward/Dade County is.

Don’t we have de facto voluntary gun control now? I mean did I miss where they now require people to own guns?

city and county officials would ask gun shops and ammo suppliers who have sales contracts with law enforcement departments around the state to follow certain sales and marketing safeguards, when conducting business. That's really nice business you gots there. Be a shame if somthin' were to happen to it.

If being disarmed makes me safer, let’s help secure the safety of America’s finest and disarm the cops first.
