Funny how we make such an effort to prevent the obesity epidemic, but do not take even the most simple, rational steps to prevent a truly DEADLY epidemic. Same with 'the children'...all the weird 'healthy' stuff - and low calorie diets with lots of indigestible fiber... but illegals can stream across the borders and give them diseases that paralyze them.. and that's 'fine'...because allowing illegals to hurt our children is A-OK compared to them weighing 5 extra pounds...

1. Stay in Africa in some hospital that resembles a hut ... and lacks all but the most basic sanitary care...
OR
2.Fly to the United States - infect 20 people on the plane - turn himself in to a totally modern hospital and receive the best care in the world... for free...

I am still trying to figure out how a marine is expected to kill an Ebola? They are supposed to shoot anyyone who tries to break through quarantine lines. Then the sick people will be forced to buy a ticket and fly to the US. I can't think of any other mission.
And anyway, Africa is not short of people of military age. They certainly can find 3,000 reservists or something. There is no justification for sending US troops into a land that they know nothing about and have no chance to learn, as contacts with locals are potentially deadly.
