They voted for this, so let them suffer the consequences.

What the heck? Not enough liberals buying the paper or subscribing to the website to get propaganda???, what the heck???

“””””””The new cutbacks should leave the Times with roughly 1,200 newsroom staff. “”””””
It takes that many people to write propaganda and fiction?
To: jimbo123
I’m shocked to learn they still had a newsroom. I thought it was just one guy copying down everything BamBam said.

in an effort to prevent further global warming/climate change...they should eliminate all of their jobs. It’s for the children.

The thing that continues to amaze me is that they continue to shrink as their revenues and circulation die, but somehow they never manage to go out of business! I mean for how many years can you have your circulation lose double digits and still remain a viable entity?

Hopey-changey alert. You, son, are an optimist.
The NYT can no more change its "stripes" (not one single one) than a tiger can.
The Rag has something up its proverbial sleeve.

Good, it’s a start. Another 1,200 eliminated from the newsroom staff and we can declare Mission Accomplished.

Why do they need personnel? Most of the news from the NYT is fictive writing anyway.

Why does the NYT even have newsroom editors. All they do is take the talking points from Obama’s press office and put it to print.

should leave the Times with roughly 1,200 newsroom staff. Sheesh... how many people does it take to re-type White House press releases?
