Plane full of Liberians, many unaccompanied minors. Basically, they are fleeing their country to get here, sick OR well.
She was sitting about 6 rows in front of the guy, and the smell was quite evident from the sick.
CDC; Customs; they had NO PLAN.
Customs just kept telling everyone that directions were coming directly from the White House (now don't that make you all warm and fuzzy ?)
People had already gotten through customs when the started a panic announcement to all Customs agents NOT to process anyone from this flight.
The patient is still not cleared as free from Ebola.
They took names and numbers, and sent all the other passengers on their way.
Again, thanks for all your kind thoughts and prayers. I guess time will tell now !
There is no way anyone from the infected countries in West Africa should be allowed to travel, period.

I am not shocked that Liberians are fleeing to the US. Its our responsibility to stop them from coming. I pray to God your wife is safe and was not exposed.

Suggest you contact local TV or newspaper and tell your story. Public pressure is the ONLY thing that will force action.

Was afraid that was happening but yours is the first post I've read with that information. Wonder whom is paying for all of these tickets? Minors can't buy tickets. There has to be someone buying the tickets for the minors ... This is starting to become really strange and the media is not saying one word.

This is the part that has me scratching my head. As a manager, I cannot imagine my folks Not asking the “what do we do...” Questions. My God, if there wasn’t a plan two weeks ago, there sure as hell would be one now.

Late to the thread, but “many unaccompanied minors” from Liberia? Could this be more of Obama’s plan to flood the country with unscreened minors who are immediately enrolled in the public schools before they can have any health care? If so, he is truly evil and now desperately trying to bring down the country before enough people wake up. By any chance, does anyone know of any media reports of unaccompanied Liberian minors?

Flights to free heath care have started - these are death flights - we have a limited time to shut them down.
So happy that your wife is home safe and sound. What an ordeal for her -- and for you. Praying hard that she and other passengers were not exposed to Ebola.
