The 18-year-old sister of a suspect in a deadly police ambush said she thinks her brother, Eric Frein, has fled the Pocono Mountain woods, according to a story in The Morning Call.

Tiffany Frein told the Call she believes the intensive manhunt has failed to capture her brother because he is no longer in the deep woods where officers are looking for him.

The sister should stay quiet and out of the news. It is likely no matter what she says, the cops suspect her and the parents of covering up for her brother Eric. What a pity, the sad nutball he has become. His deeds can never be undone.

Of course they are suspect. They more than likely know who is/was helping him. We had a similar case here in Upstate NY. This almost mimics it.

“The FBI will know by tracking his scat.”

Strange, the news has reported him being spotted by searchers as close as 75 yards away. And, they still couldn’t (wouldn’t) close on him. At that point I would have turned loose the dogs and let them chase him to ground.

Either she is right or the police are blind or not very intent on finding him.

Now the question is, why would the police not be very intent on finding him?

This is the kinda guy that might find a cave or cistern, blow his head off and they may never find the body.

The PSP has finally come clean and said they have never actually spotte him at all. What they were reporting were old images from game cameras turned in by residents. No positive ID on any of them.

And the random shooting heard up there is drunk locals and cops.

He is in Va about now, traveling on the Hippy Railroad (the Appalachian Trail)

Has anyone thought that he might have made this ‘trail of evidence’ the police have been following a week prior to his shootings?

Just a thought.

Not to mention that this section of PA is full of ginseng poachers, hunters, mushroom gatherers & hikers this time of year.

The PSP are acting like aholes to the people who live in the area. Saw one news account of a guy who was not let back in his neighborhood for 38 hours while his 2 dogs were hoe alone.....he was not sure they were still alive. Another of a guy who left work to get milk and groceries for his newborn baby and wife and was not allowed back home.

Would they be doing all of this for a non-cop? Likely not.

The authorities had lots of public support early on. Most of that has faded now.

Banning hunting at the start of deer season. Way to court the Bubba vote

Back in the early 90’s, I loved reading local newspapers, Newsweek, US News and World Report,etc... Then I started noticing that the articles written differed drastically with what I was actually seeing with my own eyes with local happenings, national speeches, elections, whatever. The anti-conservative bias was severely distorting how the organizations were portraying reality.

I am noticing the same thing now at Free Republic. I live in the area of the search and actually had conversations twice with state police today as I moved around my neighborhood. What is happening with the search and how the state police are behaving are exactly the opposite of how it keeps getting portrayed on Free Republic.

The Eric Frein article threads here are as accurate and informative as a Michael Moore documentary. Pure garbage.
