Ebola Zaire, or a "divergent lineage" of the same. Nice. I believe that is considered the most virulent strain of Ebola.
There was actually a professional ‘discussion’ when the first sequencing paper came out in April. The first paper’s authors wanted to call it ebola guinea as they argued it was a new strain. Subsequent ‘discussions’ in the genomics of ebola put it back in the Zaire family. There may have been political reasons for that reclassification. And, the first guys may have wanted special accolades for having discovered a new strain. I can see arguments for both.

Nope. The guy flying into Nigeria vomited blood and killed the woman sitting next to him and some flight attendants who cleaned it up before they knew it was Ebola. The other 46 passengers were fine.
AIDS is hard to get. Ebola is much easier. Influenza is the easiest but fortunately less lethal.
As in plane, train, bus, auto, classroom, etc.

Sawyer also killed the janitor at MMA when he cleaned up the vomit in the airport. Last I heard the janitor’s wife was quarantined but never heard anything further. She likely washed the contaminated uniform or clothes he wore.
What other animals can the virus spread to? I’ve read that it might have originated in bushmeat/African wildlife. Thinking about the vomit left on the ground and all the trash being generated from this, I wonder what animal, other then humans, it will show up in first. Rats? Mice? Etc...
Of course they worry....they worry because they LIE, AND are incompetent. Our BEST, and ONLY defense is to TRUST GOD...that we may be protected from it. Let us pray for God to heal our nation.....
