If anyone pays attention it will be the moon worshipers.

“The Blood Moon Prophecy is an idea popularized by Christian pastors John Hagee and Mark Biltz, which states that an ongoing tetrad (a series of four consecutive total lunar eclipses, with six full moons in between, and no intervening partial lunar eclipses) which began with the April 2014 lunar eclipse is a sign of the end times.”

Mister, would you take a gun—that spells M-O-O-N—question?

Laws yes? If you had your druthers: S&W M&P AR-15? Or Core ‘Scout’ AR-15?

Nothing wrong with the S&W but they dump some military bits.
Not familiar with the Core

High Standard, hmmm. OK. Not the 9mm carbine. That’s High Point.
I’ll look into it. That Colt pony engraving is expensive.
I heard somewhere the Core is built by veterans, for the 5.56, the quality is supposed to be good and the price is right.
So it sounds like a ‘value’. Thanks for the tip.

If this is a normal night I will be waking up to pee just in time to look out the window and see the eclipse.

This is a rerun of last April, which I recorded with some 200mm stills. So what I have at stake is my budding “collection” ... i.e. nothing. We’ll see if I make it.

Clear skies here in Chitown at this hour.

Just put a red filter on your camera, take a couple of shots and go to bed. Your body will thank you later.

Clouds set in! Could be some breaks, but it’s hard to wait for breaks at five in the morning.
