Notice *THIS COP WAS MURDERED* by a perp. Not the other way around.

I suppose the agitators in Ferguson are happy about that.

I do believe a cop has been shot(not killed) in Ferguson since the gentle giant got what he deserved.

There was another LEO shot that night, but I can’t find the story, Vaquero.

If the jury found him guilty, isn’t he a “Cop Killer” rather than “Accused Cop Killer”. I hate to pick nits but it seems the right thing to do.

In the near future white officers coming up on a crime scene involving black perps will be told to just stand down and let them get away with whatever criminal act they are doing for the sake of not raising the insurance premiums of the police force whether it be drug dealing, assault and battery, theft, burglary, etc...at that point white police officers will start leaving the police force and “minority” officers will replace them will just get in on the action and the whole nation will devolve into Rome II right before it fell x 10...

PC is going to be the # 1 reason the U.S. fell but you won’t see it in any text books. You’ll have to hear it from the men of old sitting around the fires in the old oil barrels in the alley ways after America falls who had wisdom at one time but fell away from God realizing too late that they hadn’t repented in time.

Where’s the death penalty? Murder during a commission of another Felony. This is absurd.

Death penalty? Are you kidding? He will become a liberal progressive hero. He will have his own radio show on Pacifica and NPR. Occupy types will wear t-shirts adorned with his face. Political movements will be organized to free him from jail. He will give commencement speeches at liberal arts colleges. The biggest heroes on the left are all murderous thugs. Free Mumia. Che t-shirts. Hugo Chavez.

What’s with the tic-tac-toe sign in the headline?

Tic-tac-toe? I thought it was a symbol for the word “number” as in #1.

Maybe 20 years from now he can give a commencement address at a university.

It used to be. Then with push-button phones, the phone company called it the “pound” sign. Maybe because you have to “pound” the button. :-)

Now I’m seeing it everywhere for some reason.

Me, I'd say it was an octothorp.

From Wikipedia:

Octothorp, octothorpe, octathorp, octatherp
Used by Bell Labs engineers by 1968.[6] Lauren Asplund says that he and a colleague were the source of octothorp at AT&T engineering in New York in 1964. The Merriam-Webster New Book of Word Histories, 1991, has a long article that is consistent with Doug Kerr's essay,[7] in that it says "octotherp" was the original spelling, and that the word arose in the 1960s among telephone engineers as a joke. The first appearance of "octothorp" in a US patent is in a 1973 filing which also refers to the six-pointed asterisk (✻) used on telephone buttons as a "sextile".[8]
