2 arrested, accused of making threats at Coral Springs schools

Two students have been arrested after threats on social media were made against Coral Glades High School and Sawgrass Springs Middle School.

The students arrested were identified as a 16-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl....

..... post similar threats with one stating, "I'm a white boy. I've been bullied a lot, and I'm posting on Instagram that people don't go to school tomorrow because I'm going to shoot up the school with an AK-47."

I know people that have kids at Coral Springs HS....geeeeeeeeeez.

The father has told me they are planning to move within two yrs...cant take the crap any longer. This may change his time frame.

Coral Springs is a nice place...but for how long?

I’ve done a lot of work for the Coral Springs Park/Rec Dept. over the years. Mostly playgrounds and some batting cages. They certainly never blink at the quotes.

I use to do service work for Albertsons in the city.
Had to deal with the police and fire depts as well as code enforcement.
Code folks were rather difficult compared with every other damn city down there.

They seemed to have a lot of stimulus money laying around a few years ago, and they didn’t miss an opportunity to spend it. Now when I check they hardly have anything on Onvia or their purchasing site. I guess that’s a good sign in that it leads one to believe that they don’t spend money they don’t have in hand.
