It didn't take long for my phone to start blowing up this morning as the GOP's Third Congressional District candidate, David Young, embraced Amnesty for illegal aliens in an interview with the Des Moines Register.
Considering his recent policy positions, you do start to wonder which party he is actually running for.
During the debate last week, Young said he felt those better off would have to pay more, but we didn't get a figure on what "better off" actually means. Above $200,000? Above $500,000? Above $100,000?
He also stated that even though international agreements don't carry any real teeth, he would be in favor of signing the Kyoto Protocol.

Latham beat Boswell. So now the GOPE and the rats are running candidates to the left of them.

A Train
Loaded like an freight train
Flyin’ like an aeroplane
Feelin’ like a space brain
One more time tonight, look out
I’m on the A-Train, bottoms up
I’m on the A-Train, fill my cup
I’m on the A-Train
Ready to crash and burn, I never learn
Oh my goodness - not just amnesty but all of that other stuff. What a joke of a choice you have in that congressional district. This is the one where the Democrat said in a debate she didn’t want to take passports away from terrorists. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EudGn23fWU
Sounds like he wants to be the second act of Jim Leach.
There is nothing to be gained by campaigning for radical leftist Staci Appel.
Well I don’t live in IA03, and won’t be able to cast a vote there,, but for all his kookie positions,, I’ll just bet he would not vote for Nancy Pelosi for Leader,,. His opponent is 10 times worse,,, so it appears the 3rd will be faced with the lesser of the two,, and that should be an easy choice..
RINOs just keep making it possible for the leftists to keep moving their demands further and further to the left.
Sometimes I have to pause, reflect, and be grateful that my Congressman is both 100% against amnesty and 100% against fag-marriage.
If he went wobbly on either of those, he would not get my vote.
Let’s see.. The GOP is expected to gain big in the House even though we really need every Senate seat-even Roberts. The House?I say take out a few of us starting with this ine.
Well, a Republican ‘campaign consultant’ told me this isn’t a conservative district and Young could easily lose. So, the current Rove GOP strategy is to move to the left.
During the debate last week, Young said he felt those better off would have to pay more..."
But he haz a R on his sleeve. Surely that makes him better than a Democrat, right?
Roberts is more conservative than Gowdy, Grassley, Ernst and Young on amnesty.
