Lots of very devout young people do get caught up in their generations fashion statements....

My nephew, a serious christian got a tattoo on his arm as a statement of his faith....when he became saved...

It is a arrow with a 180 degree turn.... He uses it as a evangelical tool to reach his generation...very effectively I might add...

Doesn’t a tattoo send a certain message about oneself? Aren’t our bodies our temples? Why deface a temple?

Some people are mixed up and this writer in Slate seems to be one.

The obsession and reaction by some here of this girl's nose ring is exactly the reason so many people are repulsed by "Christians" and their attitudes. They are the very one's turning people away for Christ.
