Though it was always wierd to me that the Bush admin didn't go around tooting its own horn on this. But then, nothing about the GOP's tactical decisions at the time made sense. Maybe you're exactly right--this was a planned handover of power to the Dems to get certain agendas pushed through. It's disheartening, but it certainly fits the known facts.

I don’t think Bush covered up anything. He said in his memoir, Decision Points, that not finding WMD’s in iraq was one of his greatest regrets. He knew about the chemical weapons. We knew about the chemical weapons. The MSM knew about the chemical weapons.
The issue is not that anyone covered up the existence of chemical weapons. It’s that the Left decided that the term “WMD” could be used only when referring to nuclear stockpiles. We didn’t find any of those because they had been moved across the border into Syria and elsewhere. Now that they’re in power and need public buy-in for boots on the ground, Iraq suddenly has WMD’s.

Or Bush like many others had things on him that the evil Demoncrats held over his head. I think they have access to much info and blackmail people on a regular basis. I hope that someone has the guts to expose them even if it means the info they have against them is also exposed. I wish someone would have the guts to fall on his own sword for the sake of our Country. It is possible that if they did they then know that their family members will die. The major problem about the demoncrats is that few understand the depth of their depravity or what their modus operandi actually is.
