Agreed. Airborne can be one of two mechanisms also.

The first is droplet dispersion from body functions like sneezing, coughing, vomiting and "explosive diarrhea". These emissions can contaminate surfaces as well as the air.

The second is the actual pathogen leaving the body and being suspended in the air. This can be simply in the breath or cells sloughed by the body (think of the dust you see in a sunbeam).

Over-Hyped sensationalism. Obola is a scam during an election. This reads
just like an October surprise.

It's all 10-lbs of generalization and lies, with one gram of truth.
Typical election fear mongering by the RATs.

ALL the people who took care of that patient should have been on travel restrictions.

In a sane world that was serious about containing this disease they would have been, just as flight restrictions would have been put into place, stat.

The highest commonality I can find with the HCWs is the exam light above the patient’s head. Staff of differing height have to adjust the light to look into eyes, throat, etc.

If HCWs scrub up, come in room, adjust exam light before putting on gloves, the patient has been coughing and sneezing and breathing on that light.

Please advise as to the best immediate action to be taken.

1. Visit the nearest toilet (three steps from my computer).

2. Immediately lose my vision in both eyes.

This is what happens when Ebola gets to a mobile first world country. Previous outbreaks were in isolated rural areas. We are the most mobile society on the planet....

Obama is lining his bank account with all these fund raisers. I can only wish he gets hit by lighting and burns.

“JULY 31, 2002 : (WASHINGTON POST REPORTS THAT THE CIA FOUND IRAQI WEAPONS LAB —— see BLUE NILE) The Washington Post runs a report (Reality is uncertainty,” by Joby Warrick, Washington Post , 31 July 2002) suggesting that the CIA has found a laboratory called Talhaddy, or “Challenge” on the west bank of the Tigris River, employing a team of 85 scientists working on a viral strain code-named Blue Nile. Detail sound similar to Ebola Virus, a lethal hemorrhagic disease. —— Iraq- Scotsman Says Saddam has weapons to wipe out world’s population, nuclear bomb withing 3 years,” The Scotsman Dossier- SPECIAL REPORT ON IRAQ,” by Westminster Editor”

Thanks for sending chills up and down my back and raising the hair on my arms, [ my personal warning re flight or fight stimulus].

The latest CSI program dealt with a lethal hemorrhagic disease that was caused by a lethal exposure to a secret specimen from a private lab creating a biological WMD. Scary show. I won't go into more specifics to avoid running a good show.

The unbelievable part of the show was how CDC knew what to do and had the proper level 4 lab and haz mat gear in Vegas immediately.

Where have you been?

I thought the POS’ CDC and local health officials were watching the people attending Patient Zero

Yeah, they are watching all right. Watching it spread.

Add demonic laugh track...

Elections have consequences. Not just the man at the top but those with whom he surrounds himself.

Would you put this action into the same category as closing the gate after the horse has run away?

I remember that. And reading more details from the “inside.”

If someone is up for researching, I believe there is mention of Saddam’s chemical and biological weapon research in the book Saddam’s Bombmaker. I own a copy in a box somewhere but I am recovering from brain surgery so I can’t attempt to,find it. But it might be sitting on someone’s bookshelf.

2014 ENA (Emergency Nurses Association) Conference held in Indianapolis this year. Was the SWA flight a connection from there?

Hope not, my sister-in-law just came back from that conference...

If I recall correctly, every U.S. case of Ebola - whether contracted in the U.S. or elsewhere — involves someone trying to care for someone else. So far, I have not heard of anyone who does not fit into that category.

There's no native reservoir species and we wouldn't be eating them raw or semi-cooked if there were, but getting bitten might be an outside possibility if one were to exist. Also, there have been no late stage Ebola cases outside of a medical setting. Duncan has been the only one close to it at this point and hopefully will remain the only one. If his girlfriend and her family do not get infected it will verge upon the miraculous, or as some have speculated, they knew and took measures to avoid infecting themselves.

And, people who have NOT been vaccinated with polio should NOT change the diapers for six weeks (IIRC) of a baby who has taken the oral polio vaccine.

Do you think if we had imposed travel restrictions a month ago we would be dealing with this, seriously, think about it.

Nothing further needs to be said to debunk the astoundingly stupid position of the CDC or Obola.

Every ebola case and death is on Obama’s hands.

I have the same question. She got to Cleveland somehow.

I choose to believe the simpler theory that they are not infected and it is not easy to get infected early on. Not zero, but not significant.

He had reportedly soiled every mattress in the apartment and was blowing out both ends by the time the EMT crew took him in the second time. Not late stage but highly symptomatic and days from death barring intervention. Certainly not early on. Early on was the first visit to the ER.
