It shows that Ebola is very likely contained in Saliva. Saliva is expelled as droplets into the air when people sneeze or cough, like the common cold. Ebola virus easily infects through mucous membranes such as the eyes, the nose and mouth or open sores / breaks in the skin. Is Ebola airborne? You tell me. I don't think you need a degree in science to figure it out. Hardly anybody dies from a cold. Statistics show that most people die from Ebola.
In common risk assessment tools probability and consequence are considered on scales of 1 to 10 or in terms of red, yellow and green. Things with combined ratings over about 4 or 5 must be addressed and their risk reduced. Ebola is here and now and the consequence is likely fatal. We would rank it closer to a 10 right now and that means don't screw around, exercise an abundance of caution and pull out all the resources to pound the problem into submission.

And almost no one talks about the terrorist implications. If someone WANTED to spread this disease, it would be extremely easy. You could make this country explode in 1 month. There would be total panic.
We need to quit calling it the Ebola epidemic or the HN whatever the hell it is killing kids all over America, and start calling with EVERY thread, political speech and news article “The Democrats Biological Warfare on America”. Please help.

I’ve thought about that all week, but I don’t think that it would be so easy.
First of all, there’s no grantee of becoming infected and you’d have to travel before you got sick. So you could roll around on someone with Ebola, come to the US and end up perfectly healthy.
Then there’s the problem of possibly getting sick in transit. Now that everyone’s on alert, a sick person isn’t making it off the plane.
But let’s say that a terrorist did manage to get infected and did make it here. It seems that it’s not very contagious until the end stage. At that point, the terrorist is too sick to wander around infecting people without being much too obvious.
The only way that would work is if a second, healthy terrorist made trips back to the hotel to gather samples, then quickly made their way to the mall.
To be honest, there are many, many easier ways to mess with us that have a guarantee of success and don’t involve international travel.
That's a good article but this statement needs even more clarification. "Airborne" is a medical term that as far as I can tell, means that a virus is mainly respiratory and that it individual viruses can survive in dry air. It is true that ebola is not a respiratory virus although as the article points out, it is present in saliva. So while Ebola itself might not make a patient sneeze, a sneeze will contain droplets which contain viruses. Thus the use of hoods or masks instead of full body airtight suits can be fatal in some cases even though Ebola doesn't float through the air in a dry virus form.

3. Demand action to seal the Southern Border as a contingency against the serious threat of invasion of infected persons from the South. We have children dying right now from Enterovirus 68 brought to our nation by infected children from the south

Screening landing passengers for infection after they have exposed a sealed aluminum tube of people for hours? This is containment?

Or one healthy terrorist brings samples from Africa with him (or her). The problem is that I seriously doubt that we screen checked luggage for materials that could contain live viruses. I may be wrong (and hope I am), but I don't know of an easy way to do that. Once the terrorist is here with live viruses, spreading it would be a "breeze" so to speak, with just an ordinary sprayer in a crowded area.

Yeah, it’s true. Buuuuut we have the evidence on our side. HN-68(?), TB, and scabies= Open borders and no action by Obama except to transport and relocate them all over the country. Ebola= Obama’s inaction ( 3 months ago) to cancel ALL visa from East Africa and failure to check visas and not set up quarantines for those who slipped through.
Exactly... the government is equivocating and parsing terms.
Ebola is highly infectious, is very concentrated in saliva and other bodily fluids even in droplet form. Anyone who is infected can spread droplets by coughing or sneezing. We all sneeze and cough.
Watch the stock market crash horribly today. The panic is growing with realization and reality. CDC only adds to the panic by a reign of confusion and obfuscation.
