CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta reported that the CDC admitted during a phone conference with the press that Texas Presbyterian Hospital did seem to be following CDC protocols in their treatment of Ebola patient Thomas Duncan on Mondays

The protocols were wrong!
To this day the CDC lacks any personal protection protocols for medical staff!!!

You mean that they crawled down the throats of those nurses and now they wisper they were wrong but no apology shouted from the mountain tops.
So what was the mode of infection?
looks like the JV team is running the CDC.
kinda ironic that these are the Dems who crucifyied Bush for his Katrina response!!!
Anyone reading this probably already knows nurse number two has a lawyer (not sure who you sue or what for) to refute the CDC lies and clear her name that she violated their travel protocols / and that she was cleared to fly.
O’s last 2 years after he loses the Senate are going to be a grand narcissistic unconcealed FU to those of us who were born here, including democrats.
Not that the first 6 haven’t been.
It wouldn’t surprise me, given narcissism, if he doesn’t cause himself to be impeached with some radical acts. Narcissists don’t care about how good or bad they are ... just how big they are, how memorable. Their existence depends on their existence in the minds of others. If they can’t be great and loved, they’ll settle for notorious and hated. If they can’t construct, which they normally can’t, they’ll settle for equal destruction (requires less work, patience). The question they ask themselves is ‘how many pages in the history books, how deep the feeling, how much larger than life.’ No sense of actual self.
Pardon the unplanned psych analysis. But it’s how it is with these ‘folks.’
The JV team is running the Oval Office too.
Nah, more like little league - apologies to little league for the insult.
Defamation of character
Negligence
The CDC administrators and Tom Frieden in particular are nothing but lying sons-of-b!tches. Frickin’ Obola boot-lickers. I hope these lousy political hacks rot.
CDC guidelines for healthcare workers, at least early in Duncan’s course and based on materials you can access from the CDC website, were completely different from how CDC handled Ebola in their labs. CDC handles it as a biosafety 4 hazard (google biosafety 4). The guidelines from CDC for healthcare workers were less than those typically encountered in an operating room.
So, most likely, the nurses got the virus by contacting bodily fluids. They followed the guidelines. The early guidelines were inadequate. CDC revised the guidelines almost on a daily basis, as things went along, ultimately ending up at close to improvised biosafety 4. That is also part of the reason they shipped the nurses out to full biosafety level 4 hospitals. It isn’t as easy as Dr. Frieden made it sound day 1.
You see...”tight” was referencing them all being on the same page.
This, and ridiculing the media, is how its going to be either until Nov 2 or when one slips through and we have another infected in the headlines.

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
Thanks for the ping!
