In most states, jury pool members are selected using voter registration rolls. Is that how MD does it?
If so, the state is completely negligent in not having a feedback mechanism if a potential juror, drawn from a voter roll, identifies himself as a non-citizen to avoid jury duty. And remove that non citizen from the voter roll (along with a nice letter to USCIS for inclusion in his file).
This is a complete no brainer; non citizens shouldn’t even be on the voter rolls used to identify jurors.
Cross-references in government only work if it’s in their favor. Since the government is run by democrats, there is no advantage to them in culling illegal voters.
It works the same way with taxes and other revenue. They are great at record-keeping when it’s in their favor, but completely incompetent if the records show you don’t owe anything or worse yet that they owe you a refund.
