PORTSMOUTH — A verbal altercation Friday night at Portsmouth High School came about because of an idling tour bus belonging to Republican U.S. Senate candidate Scott Brown.

...Williams (a spokesperson for the Brown campaign) said a man approached the bus, screaming obscenities. He said the man, later identified as New Castle resident Burt Cohen, a longtime Democratic state senator, not only refused to leave when asked, but attempted to board the bus, accosting a campaign volunteer who tried to stop him.

Williams alleges that the volunteer campaign worker stood between Cohen and the bus and Cohen "physically assaulted" the campaigner...

Exactly! Compared to how the media has jumped into the fray to help Democratic candidates at the last minute - investigating Charlie Baker’s fisherman story, really? Repeating the lie that Scott Brown doesn’t know where Sullivan County is? And yet when a Democrat goes nutso - repeatedly - not a word is said.

> New Castle resident Burt Cohen, a longtime Democratic state senator, not only refused to leave when asked, but attempted to board the bus... the volunteer campaign worker stood between Cohen and the bus and Cohen “physically assaulted” the campaigner.

He should be arraigned and tried on terrorism charges, and RICO Act charges, and prosecuted until either he goes to prison or dies of old age.

Oh, and lying (saying Cohen assaulted them) isn’t desperate!!!!

Was that the Brown campaign’s tactics, to use Cohen’s “resisting arrest” against him (in the same city it happened) to try to frame him with assault charges. Actually, we all know Cohen is not an abuser!!!! I MEAN REALLY, how ridiculous, a young volunteer picking on an older man at a family function. Cohen’s resiliency and truth defeat all that and any other BS you bring. So, bring it, Shaheen won.

You’d never know it. Obviously people have to speak up because diesels are left running all day regardless of what’s supposed to be allowed. I know because I work outside all day everyday with companies using diesel trucks...last I knew there were signs posted outside each of the schools reminding busses to turn off their engines while waiting outside. What was Brown bus doing there anyways???? Polluting and oppressing our state, glad they’re gone!

Nice you finally woke up and managed an opinion - no matter how flawed - what, four months late - sort of like Obama trying to deal with Islamic terrorists, and the economy, and immigration and - hell, everything he does - but you do Democrat very well - instead of dealing with the facts of the story, you pull an Alinsky and attack those with whom you disagree as liars, and that’s supposed to settle the matter - and I’ve a hunch that’s what Mr. Cohen, whoever he may be, is pulling here too - yeah Shaheen bucked the Republican tidal wave and won - barely - not too impressive for a former governor and incumbent senator against Brown, who was afterall a carpetbagger......
