Make it so.
I believe that if the federal government is downsized, Virginia will go back to being Red.
Whose taking bets on the time it takes for Dems to demand power sharing on a 2 seat margin? In the interest of fairness you see...
Real Clear Politics is showing a pickup of 7 seats for the GOP in the Senate with Kansas showing as a toss up.
Here is the link to the Senate map page.

I would love to see piggie Landrieu get the boot. The only question is will she stay in Dc as a lobbyist
Sounds good to me!
I only have one simple message to “ALL” American voters.........”TURNOUT TO VOTE”......means everything!!! Every American registered voter, regardlesss of political slant should get out and vote today, Tuesday, November 4, 2014, and cast their vote against every single “Obamabot”, Democrat Party candidate running for office this election cycle, thus entirely destorying the “Obamabot”, Democrat Party, politically!!! That action, alone will make POTUS Obama an “INSTANT” “LAME DUCK”, POTUS for the rest of his term!!! Do it!!!
“Turnout, Turnout...and more Turnout!!!
A one vote majority allows Collins, Murkowski, McCain, Graham to swing any vote. A two seat majority allows any two of them to swing the vote. Alexander and Hatch may also waiver under the right circumstances.
If the Republicans get a one vote majority Reid may be able to persuade one of the above to switch parties particularly with the math against the GOP in 2016.
Even if no one switches, none of the above will vote for conservative social legislation or downsizing the leviathan state. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
I was so disappointed in the last presidential. I don’t want to invest in believing all these good election predictions until they really happen. Could we be in for another disappointment like in 2012?
Not sure how Larry arrived at that 2-seat majority number if the GOP picks up eight seats. A +8 gain gives them 53 vs the dems’ 47. Or are we using Common Core math?
my prediction is an O/U of 8.5
for GOP net gain in the US Senate
(after the runoffs)
North Carolina, is the tossup
If everybody who stayed home two years ago because Mitt wasn’t “conservative enough” has learned from their mistake and shows up today then it will be a good day. Otherwise...
Just think if we are a fair media, how well Republicans could do. It is amazing we win anything at all with the liberal bias in the media.
Sabato?
Please!
Now those if only those identified as Republicans actually acted like Republicans and not wannabe Democrats that would be real nice.........
YEAH!
I would love to see Michigan, Minnesota and New Mexico switch, too.
Don’t listen to the hype, Georgia is pretty red. Our worst problem is electing RINO’s to the Senate and Governor seats and then they have a problem at re-election. If Perdue was not such a nothing burger Michelle Nunn would never have even come close. Same with Nathan Deal for Governor.
Currently GA has a large GOP statehouse majority and our Governor, LT Gov, SOS, AG, are Republicans. No Dems.
Perdue will eventually win the vacant senate seat and Nathan Deal will get four more years as Gov.
