HURT: America faces most dangerous two years in 150 years
The Washington Times ^ | November 5, 2014 | Charles Hurt

Posted on 11/04/2014 10:18:03 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

If President Obama suffered a “shellacking” in the 2010 elections, then what he endured Tuesday night was nothing short of a vicious gangland beatdown the likes of which have rarely been seen before in the history of electoral politics.

This, of course, is a wonderful and well-deserved outcome. But beware: America now enters the two most dangerous years of her existence — or certainly the most dangerous since the Great Depression and possibly going all the way back to the Civil War.

Not to dismiss the promising results of Tuesday’s election.

Voters clearly and forcefully rejected the party, politics and policies of President Obama. They slapped his socialist agenda back into the days of Soviet gulags, where it belongs.

His grand visions of mighty government ruling unchecked over desperate ghettos have been snuffed out.

Gone, too, were the so-called “low-information voters” who have been coaxed to the polls since 2008 on lies and false promises that the federal government would solve all their problems.

They are used up and wrung out.

Even the onslaught of threats and desperate accusations in endless emails to their Obamaphones couldn’t motivate those people to the polls one more time.

Voters rejected the craven, crass and mafioso tactics of Senate Leader Harry Reid.....

It will start at this meeting on Friday I’ll bet. Obama will say screw you, I’ve got two more years and I will do by executive order what I want to do

I might be wishful thinking, but I don't think so. Those at the meeting, cognizant that they have careers ahead of them but Obama doesn't, will nod their heads but, after the meeting, have no part of it. I think Obama has no sincere support left. He has cashed his check, as Hunter Thompson used to write.

re: calling US Senators suggesting that a good first move would be to make ObamaCare optional.

If we spread the thought and enough people call, we might have an impact. Think about it....it would be veto proof, nobody would be refused their insurance, and private policies would re-emerge. It would also force the 'pubs to have to explain themselves if they wouldn't go along with this much.

If he does this, we’ll be needing a ‘James Mattoon Scott’ to step in and remove the vicious little thug from power, hopefully frog-marching his sorry ass out of the White House.

If not that....no, I can’t say that. I’d get a visit from the Secret Service.

What tonight wasn’t was the approval by Americans of a conservative or republican agenda, because one was not put forth.

What a wasted opportunity.

See my #41. I could be wrong, but I don’t feel that way. I think he’s done. He’s never been someone who likes to fight uphill. The philosophies of those who came of age in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s are now being contested by those who grew to adulthood in the Reagan era. That is a contest I don’t think Obama — or Hillary, for that matter — can win.

As Dick Cheney said so brilliantly, the wheel has turned, and it is time for them to go.

I hope you are right, but I have my doubts. He has to much power and a philosophy that is contrary to those espoused by most Americans that want to live free.

No President in living memory has deserved it more than Obama. He actually has much worse coming to him. By all rights, the man and all of his Bolshevik lackeys should be in Leavenworth Prison for the crimes they've committed against this country and our Constitution.

I do admire our fellow FReeper Matthew Bracken, for many, many years, but I just posted on another thread what I’m convinced of:

I think he’s done. He’s never been someone who likes to fight uphill. The philosophies of those who came of age in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s are now being contested by those who grew to adulthood in the Reagan era. That is a contest I don’t think Obama — or Hillary, for that matter — can win.

As Dick Cheney said so brilliantly, the wheel has turned, and it is time for them to go.

I think that’s truth. Your mileage may vary!

He’ll tune out and concentrate on golf, and turn the country over to Valerie Jarrett and Michelle.

I think this article and its implications of the dangers of a cornered rat should alarm anyone who has studied Venezuelian politics and specifically the rise of Hugo Chavez. Obama’s MO, albeit slower is frighteningly similar.

There's something screwy about the Wash. Times website.

When I put IE on high security and block all cookies, I can read it and scroll, but there's a little bit cut off on right and left margins.

His hatred for this country is really going to be off the charts now — if that’s possible to imagine. He now knows that if he’s going to destroy the country, he’s going to have to do it alone. He’s going to make us pay and he’s going to do it with executive orders. I expect he’ll be bringing boatloads of ebola patients over here and order that they be allowed to roam freely while undergoing treatment. And the Southern border? Fuhgeddaboudit. For all intents and purposes, it won’t exist for the next two years.

This is overheated rhetoric. In 1974, the Democrats won 60 senate seats and 291 congressional districts. This isn’t remotely comparable.

but I shutter to think what he and dingy Harry Reid will do until the new Congress takes office
= = = = = = = = = = = = =
I think Reid will have his hands full OVERTURNING all the obstacles ‘they’ changed so as the Minority had its hands tied.

All the paper work is probably ready but one never knows.

Impeachment sounds good. Would surely throw a monkey wrench into their already F’d up party with having Biden challenging whichever of the ‘Beauty Queens’ who think it is their turn to ascend to the throne.

When BO first got elected the Comedienne Wanda Sykes stated that she hoped BO did a good job because if he didn’t it would be another 150 years before a Black Man would be considered for Prez.

She was very Prolific but it will probably be 300 years just to straighten out his mess.

And hopefully now he will go back to Nevada and go into 'Howard Hughes' mode by moving into a hermetically sealed penthouse and spend his days growing his fingernails.

It might be the euphoria of the electoral results talking, but wouldn’t it be nice if Congress passed a resolution requiring Obama to disclose his background, citizenship and/or naturalization records, school records and any other relevant information to estblish once and for all who he is, and whether he is legally eligible to hold office? Now that would be sweet.
