Minnesota really stands out. I see Riverside County in California finally went blue after being red forever. Arizona has a lot of Indian land.

From bits and pieces in Wikipedia:

As the highest rated and most widely available cable news channels, CNN, MSNBC, and FNC are sometimes referred to as the "Big Three". While the networks are usually referred to as 24-hour news networks, reruns of news programs and analysis or opinion programming are played throughout the night, with the exception of breaking news.

Recent additions to the cable news business are CBSN, Newsmax TV, TheBlaze, Al Jazeera America and One America News Network. In the United States, early networks included CNN in 1980, Financial News Network in 1981 and CNN2 (now HLN) in 1982. CNBC was created in 1989, taking control of FNN in 1991. By 1997, the cable news industry grew to incorporate several other networks, including MSNBC, FNC, and specialty channels including Bloomberg Television, ESPNews and Fox Business Network.

List of Networks out there:

BBC News (also referred to as the BBC News Channel) is the BBC's 24-hour rolling news television network in the United Kingdom. The channel launched as BBC News 24 on 9 November 1997 at 17:30 as part of the BBC's foray into digital domestic television channels, becoming the first competitor to Sky News, which had been running since 1989.

BBC World News is the BBC's international news and current affairs television channel. It has the largest audience of any BBC channel. Launched on 11 March 1991 as BBC World Service Television outside Europe, its name was changed to BBC World in 1995 and to BBC World News in 2008. BBC World News is owned and operated by BBC Global News Ltd, part of the BBC's commercial group of companies and is funded by subscription and advertising revenues, and not by the United Kingdom television license.

Sky News is a 24-hour, multi-media news operation based in Britain. It provides non-stop rolling news on television, online, and on a range of mobile devices – as well as delivering a service of national and international radio news to commercial radio stations in the UK. The news service places emphasis on rolling news, including the latest breaking news. Having launched as a 24-hour television news channel in 1989, Sky News has also grown into a digital operation through its website and mobile apps. It is also a content provider for news services in the UK and around the world.

Sun News Network (commonly shortened to Sun News) is an English language Category C news and opinion channel that is owned by Quebecor Media through a partnership between two of its subsidiaries, TVA Group (which maintains 51% majority ownership of the company) and Sun Media Corporation (which holds the remaining 49% interest). Sun News is distributed by most major cable and satellite providers across Canada but is currently included in channel tiers subscribed by only 40% of all Canadian households (5.1 million homes with a pay television subscription).

CBC News Network (formerly CBC Newsworld) is a Canadian English language Category C specialty news channel owned and operated by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). It broadcasts into over 10 million homes in Canada. It is the world's third-oldest television service of this nature, after CNN in the United States and Sky News in the United Kingdom.

RT America, previously known as Russia Today US is a TV channel based in Washington, D.C.. It is part of the RT network, a global multilingual television news network based in Moscow and funded by the Russian government. There is also a news bureau in Houston, Texas. RT America focuses on covering the Americas from an international and Russian perspective, being the second most viewed news channel from a foreign perspective, after BBC World News. It currently only broadcasts in the afternoon and evening, the rest of the air day consisting of the International feed from Moscow.

France 24 (pronounced France vingt-quatre [fʁɑ̃s vɛ̃tkatʁ] on all three editions) is an international news and current affairs television channel based in Paris. Its stated mission is to "cover international current events from a French perspective and to convey French values throughout the world." It started broadcasting on 6 December 2006 under the presidency of Jacques Chirac and prime ministerial term of Dominique de Villepin. The service is aimed at the overseas market and is broadcast through satellite and cable operators throughout the world. During 2010 the France 24 channel started broadcasting through its own iPhone app.

NewsMax TV debuted June 15, 2014 as a television arm of NewsMax, a Republican-leaning media company better known for its magazine and Web site. As of 2014, it is distributed on both Dish Network and DirecTV through a time-buy arrangement. The network does not yet air any programming in prime time and will rely heavily on infomercials. Unlike Fox News, Newsmax TV is a completely conservative network, marking the first ever completely conservative news network.

The Blaze TV is the television arm of TheBlaze, a multimedia network founded and operated by radio host Glenn Beck. Beck, who previously hosted a daily hourlong television show on Headline News and FNC, formed TheBlaze TV (originally known as GBTV) on September 12, 2011, shortly after leaving FNC. TheBlaze is available via Dish Network, various smaller cable providers, and through subscription Internet television. The network is available on regional cable providers throughout the United States, on channels 202 & 212 of the Dish Network, on the Roku Device, on SkyAngel and available internationally on its own online streaming service, which also includes a free digital subscription to a "1791" e-mail account and TheBlaze Magazine.

One America News Network (abbreviated as OAN, commonly referred to as One America News) is an American cable news television channel that is owned by the Herring Networks, Inc. The network is headquartered in San Diego, California, and operates a news bureau in Washington, D.C. Originally envisioned as a conservative news network, OANN's primary focus is delivering a credible source of national and international news 24/7. OAN also features political analysis programming and political talk shows, along with network special documentary-style reports. The channel was launched on July 4, 2013. One America has broad national carriage on Verizon FiOS and AT&T U-verse, along with a number of regional cable providers, including CenturyLink, Consolidated Communications, and GCI.

CBSN is an internet television news channel operated by the CBS News and CBS Interactive divisions of CBS Corporation which launched on November 6, 2014. As well as being a competitor to the cable news channels operated by the other major U.S. television networks (such as Fox News Channel and MSNBC), CBSN was designed primarily as a digital-oriented service; CBSN is distributed solely through the CBS News website, mobile apps, and on television via apps for digital media player devices such as Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Roku, rather than traditional platforms such as cable television.

Based on Al Jazeera English, the Al Jazeera Media Network created Al Jazeera America in August 2013, launching it over the channel space formerly occupied by Current TV. The channel provides both domestic and international news and features with talent such as Tony Harris, John Seigenthaler, Richelle Carey, Joie Chen, Antonio Mora, Ali Velshi and Lisa Fletcher along with hosts from Al Jazeera English. While not as widely distributed as CNN, MSNBC and FNC, the channel is currently available in about 55 million homes. The channel is fully managed and operated in the United States and its president is Kate O'Brian, who formerly served as vice president of ABC News. The channel produces its programs in high definition, but broadcasts (at least temporarily) in standard definition on most carriers due to the fact that the channel that Al Jazeera America replaced, Current TV had transmitted only in standard definition; the HD feed is currently only carried by Google Fiber, Verizon FIOS, Time Warner Cable, AT&T U-Verse and Bright House Networks.

China Central Television or Chinese Central Television, commonly abbreviated as CCTV, is the predominant state television broadcaster in mainland China. Fox News Channel has long been promoting conservative political positions and it has been widely criticized for biased reporting by other networks and the left stream media. Employees of Fox News Channel have responded that news reporting and political commentary operate independently of each other and have denied any bias in news reporting.

The Cable News Network (CNN) is an American basic cable and satellite television channel that is owned by the Turner Broadcasting System division of Time Warner. The 24-hour cable news channel was founded in 1980 by American media proprietor Ted Turner. Upon its launch, CNN was the first television channel to provide 24-hour news coverage, and was the first all-news television channel in the United States. While the news channel has numerous affiliates, CNN primarily broadcasts from its headquarters at the CNN Center in Atlanta, the Time Warner Center in New York City, and studios in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles. CNN is sometimes referred to as CNN/U.S. to distinguish the American channel from its international sister network, CNN International. As of August 2010, CNN is available in over 100 million U.S. households. Broadcast coverage of the U.S. channel extends to over 890,000 American hotel rooms, as well as carriage on cable and satellite providers throughout Canada. MSNBC shares the NBC logo of a rainbow peacock with its sister channels NBC, CNBC, and NBC Sports Network.

PJ Media is a media company and operator of an eponymous conservative opinion and commentary website. The organization was formerly known as 'Pajamas Media'. Their purpose is to broadcast news exclusively via the Internet and YouTube, focusing primarily on politics. Founded in 2004 by a network primarily, but not exclusively, made up of conservatives and libertarians led by writer Roger L. Simon. In the summer of 2008 PJ Media launched PJTV.com, its high definition, subscription-based Internet television service. The Internet television service debuted at the 2008 Republican convention, where PJTV had a broadcasting booth inside of Minneapolis's Xcel Energy Center, which housed the convention. CNBC (officially the Consumer News and Business Channel until 1991)[3] is an American basic cable and satellite business news television channel that is owned by the NBCUniversal News Group, a unit of the NBCUniversal Television Group division of NBCUniversal. The network and its international spinoffs cover business headlines and provide live coverage of financial markets. The combined reach of CNBC and its siblings is 390 million viewers around the world. In 2007, the network was ranked as the 19th most valuable cable channel in the United States.

Bloomberg Television is an American-based international cable and satellite business news television channel that is owned by Bloomberg L.P. It is distributed globally, reaching over 310 million homes worldwide. It is primarily headquartered in New York City, with European headquarters in London and Asian headquarters in Hong Kong.

The Weather Channel is the market leader in news regarding weather forecasting and the most widely distributed cable network in the United States. It was launched in August 1982, under the ownership of Landmark Communications (which sold the network to a joint venture of NBCUniversal, Blackstone Group and Bain Capital in 2008). Originally, the channel was devoted entirely to weather forecasts and news coverage (with computer-generated local forecasts inserted through each individual cable provider every ten minutes, and previously at randomized time intervals, ten times an hour), but since 2001, the network has increasingly cut back its weather coverage in favor of reality television and documentary series (this reliance on such programs has led to carriage disputes between Dish Network and DirecTV in the early 2010s, the latter resulting in the channel's first provider defection, citing subscriber complaints regarding The Weather Channel's shift away from forecast programs). Most of the channel's morning and at least part of its afternoon lineup remains devoted to weather news coverage and national forecasts. As of 2013, it is operated under the same corporate structure as MSNBC. Since the 2000s, there have been several other attempts to launch weather-centric television channels. The Local AccuWeather Channel is distributed mainly as a digital subchannel on various terrestrial television outlets. WeatherNation TV, originally known as The Weather Cast, also uses this model (having taken the place of The Local AccuWeather Channel as the affiliation of certain stations' weather channels since 2013), although it also provides a feed directly to cable providers. Before NBC and its partners acquired The Weather Channel, NBCUniversal operated NBC Weather Plus, a digital multicast service that operated from 2004 to 2008 (continuing thereafter as a locally programmed service using Weather Plus' graphics system called NBC Plus). WeatherNation is currently the only one of these channels available on the major satellite providers; DirecTV added the channel in January 2014.

I will not mention sports outlets. But it is just a list of a majority of networks out there. I didn't include broadcast CBS News, ABC News and NBC News or PBS as they don't have a 24 channel , though NBC runs MSNBC and CBS has a new 24/7 web feed. ABC ended ABC Now in 2010.

I realize I didn’t go in depth on CNN International which is on some cable outfits nor on CNN’s other sister channel HLN once called CNN2 and then Headline News or HN. But so be it. Just wanted to post somewhere on this site a full list of all cable or streaming news channels.

BBC News...If you can VPN you can see it on the Iplayer.

BBC World News...some cable outfits added it and one can VPN it off the web, but not off the I player. It is some sites with other stream news channels.

Sky News, unlike BBC, is free for people in the US to watch online. Newscorp owns it which owns Fox News Channel.

Sun News Network does not stream online but has a extensive and up to date video library.

RT America streams mostly because cable outlets won’t add it since it is Biased with Moscow news.

France 24 is online streaming in French and English.

CBC News Network is hard to find, but I found some coverage from them that worked when the Parliament had an attack in Canada, but if you want the official feed you won’t be able to get it in the US as it requires having Canadian cable and logging into account.

Fox News is on basic cable and anyone with a subscription to cable or sat can watch it online at Fox News Go anywhere you can see the web. I don’t condone Bootlegging but there have been sites with FNC popping up over the years for people without cable.

CNN is basic cable and CNNI is often times on a digital packages from your tv provider. HLN is also on basic cable. They do have web streams online for customers, but some cable providers don’t offer it so there is a way to bootleg at least the main CNN, but I don’t condone that.

NewsMax TV actively promotes its live web stream as well as being on Direct TV and Dish network. It streams for free. But it quit rerunning it’s news programs in primetime so you have to watch them during the day. They run a lot of documentaries when not running their news shows. It just started as a channel this year, though some shows streamed only for over a year.

The Blaze TV is a subscription streaming service online as well as being on some cable providers including Dish Network. IT has live feed of Glenn Beck’s radio show and runs some programming late afternoons and early evenings. The channel on Dish repeats programming the other hours.

One America News quit streaming the channel online after it joined some providers, namely U-Verse and FIOS. So there is no more live stream available. But you can join those two providers and a few others to see it. It started nearly one year before NewsMax TV, a year ago.

CBSN just started and is a 24/7 CBS News web stream. It is mostly the same format as the early morning news show Up To The Minute but 24-7, though the programming is often repeated and taped.

Al Jazeera America is a biased news source that I don’t watch. But cable companies added it last year.

MSNBC is another biased news source favoring the left. But it is on cable outlets run by Comcast and NBC.

CCTV and CCTV News is the Chinese version of RT America. Some cable providers have it. It might be streaming online but I don’t watch. I believe there is a Japanese feed called NHK Japan which does a good job of Asian news. It has a feed online in English if I am correct.

Next News Network is a streaming only channel that is somewhat Libertarian in nature, but also anti-government. In Boston it is a digital channel as well offered from WHDT.

PJTV is PJ Media’s video content network which runs video commentary shows and programs.

Fox Business News is a channel from News Corp that does Financial news and streams online for subscribers who have them on tv. It is a digital channel.

CNBC is another financial news channel that is only on Basic cable TV.

Bloomberg runs both a web stream and is on digital tiers of tv providers. It is the third financial news channel in the USA.

The Weather Channel does weather 24/7, but it has had issues in recent years since NBC and others purchased it. You can only see it on basic cable.

Weather Nation is the competitor which went a different route and can be seen mostly online for free. But it also has landed on some cities as a digital sub channel and it is on Direct TV.

And that is how you can see the channels. As with everything I do have bootleg sites for some networks, but I feel it is not right and nine our of ten times they get closed if I give it out. So I refuse to mention it.
