China warns Tibet party members not to harbor separatist 'fantasies' about Dalai Lama

BEIJING Wed Nov 5, 2014 3:44am EST

(Reuters) - A top Chinese official has vowed to severely punish members of the ruling Communist Party in Tibet who "harbor fantasies" about the troubled region's exiled spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, state media said on Wednesday.

In a front-page article in the Tibet Daily, Tibet's party chief Chen Quanguo said China would stamp out any separatist inclinations.

One of the surest ways to drive Chicom mad is to say, "Long live Dalai Lama." It is as bad as "F*** Mao."

You could also say that the Japanese were less harmful to China than the Communist Party.

With an honorable mention to Chiang kai-shek.

Chiang Kai-Shek was actually a relatively stand-up guy, given what he had to work with - independent warlords who thwarted him at every opportunity, including during the pivotal campaigns of the Chinese Civil War. A liberal historian wrote a recent book entitled "The Generalissimo" that debunked a lot of the derogatory material spread mainly by fellow travelers and people hoodwinked by fellow travelers (including Stilwell) against Chiang. It's becoming more well-known even among mainland Chinese that Chiang's men took the bulk of the casualties (>90%) during the Sino-Japanese War. Ultimately, Mao used the Sino-Japanese War to train and rest his troops, while Chiang's troops were tapped out from taking horrendous casualties.

I had an interesting experience last week. My wife and I were in downtown Boston sitting in the front window of a coffee place located next to a nice hotel. A big black SUV limo pulls up and three Tibetan monks in full robes, one carrying a video camera come out, along with a couple of other people who looked Tibetan and they get in the limo and drive off. I figured something was going on so I looked up "Boston Buddhist" on my smart phone and found out the Dalai Lama was going to be there in a day or two.

A moment later, two Chinese men came out of the hotel and stood on the sidewalk right in front of us. Middle-aged guys in ill-fitting, almost identical blue suits who began talking to each other while smoking cigarettes. I pointed them out to my wife and said, "Those are the Chinese agents who are keeping an eye on the Tibetans." I've seen a lot of Chinese businessmen, and these guys were not businessmen.

Yeah, have to keep constant tap on Chinese version of “Great Satan.” I am not kidding. Chicom really views Dalai Lama as “Great Satan.”

That’s a weird detail, eh? Members of the Commie Party, not just rank and file. Must have become a problem, or, they’re gearing up for an Assad-style crackdown leading to a massive escalation of violence against their own citizens.

The agents were also there to organize ‘counter-protests’ against the Dalai Lama.

Interestingly, they rigged up the Chinese agents ‘protesting’ the appearance in monk’s robes and stood them right in front of the door as the audience filed in.

The place was packed - standing room only - without a single seat empty. Some came from out of state, others from foreign countries.

The Tibetans adore the Dalai Lama.

There was an interview we heard a couple of days later on the radio with an American woman who was organizing the anti-Dalai Lama, pro-Dorjen protests. When they started pressing her on the fact that her movement was being financed by the Chinese, she at first denied it, then said, “I don’t want to talk about politics.”

My dad flew C-46s in the China-Burma-India Campaign and had first-hand dealings with Chiang’s followers.
They were, in his estimation, a group of thieving, back stabbing, self-enriching bastards who had no loyalty to China. They stole from the very people they claimed to protect.

If the ChiComs had any sense (but then they wouldn’t be ChiComs) they would worry more about their own karma and the millions of Buddhists doing practice for them than the Dalai Lama.

I noticed that too. Cracks forming in the impenetrable shell of propaganda the Party lives in? Younger generation not buying it all lock stock and barrel?

I looked her up and that led me to an article published today about the cult she is involved in. It is published by HuffPo but it appears to be a true and accurate article from what I have heard about them. It's basically a Jim Jones type cult, a breakaway from Tibetan Buddhism.

Or, maybe they’re getting set up for a Cultural Revolution style purge (but trying to avoid the de facto civil war that went on as well).
