US Secretary of State John Kerry claimed Wednesday he was “driving toward the finish” to secure what would be a historic deal with Iran over its nuclear program as a November 24 deadline looms.
“We are not contemplating an extension,” stressed Kerry, ahead of what are likely to be crunch talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and outgoing EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton in Muscat on November 9-10.
“We are driving towards the finish with the view we are to trying to get it done,” he said.
Kerry dismissed questions about whether the GOP’s command of Congress would derail the nuclear deal, and said the same sticking points would remain no matter which US political party was in power. “I don’t believe that changes either side,” he said. “I honestly don’t.”

Guess John F'n Kerry (he was in Viet Nam, you know) skipped Civics class the day they explained all treaties must be ratified by the Senate.
Of course, we don't do that "Constitution" thingy anymore so I guess it's up to the Dear Reader...

The problem with Kerry he’s considered an infidel(inferior) & Shi’it’s know how to lie and get away with it.
Kerry’s eventual celebration on whatever crappy “deal” he signs will last less than 24 hours, after which Iran will do something to slap him and Obama in the face.
Some deal - Iran gets nukes, Israel gets annihilated, and the US gets nothing.
Kerry deal: We’ll let you have the bomb, just don’t use it until we are out of office in 2016.
More apropos of this pampered, perfumed prince, he’s being chauffeured toward the finish.
By “deal” he means “surrender”. By “Iran” he means “jihad”.
Of course the election changes nothing for Kerry and Iran’s nuke program. He was going nowhere with it before the election, and after the election the destination remains the same.
I hope and pray they don’t get explosive nukes before the next presidential election. That will be the next opportunity to do anything about it, if then.
I am surprised that Kerry didn’t take “Selfies” of himself while he was there! Like he did when he was on a Swift Boat in Vietnam!!
