Its almost like a designed project....put down as many Democrats as possible and bring a massive Republican apparatus to the national capital and to state capitals.
Almost sounds like a Stalinesque purge. Get rid of all the potentially troublesome Southern/Blue Dog Democrats, even if it means accepting GOP wins and setback to the Progressive Agenda. Because it'll only be short term. In the long-term demography is destiny, and with the Southern/Blue Dogs gone there'll be absolutely no internal resistance to worry about as the Party in those states is rebuilt with a decidedly Progressive bent.

Blue-dogs don’t go away. It may be a decade of stupid Democratic planning....but in the end...they will still be there. And it puts pressure on the national Democratic Party to find some topics which are agreeable, or find support going to Republicans.
