Nearly every high school senior applied for Tennessee Promise, but a small percentage of them may not be eligible for free community college tuition. Before getting the state funding, students must apply for federal financial aid — which leaves undocumented students behind.
Tennessee has about 6,000 high school students who are undocumented, according to the Migration Policy Institute.
The governor’s speech introducing Tennessee Promise may have encouraged that hope:
“To every student, from every kindergartner to every high school senior, we will promise that he or she can attend two years of community college or college of applied technology absolutely free,” he said in February.
A spokeswoman for the governor says he was referring only to eligible students in his speech.

Success at crime does not entitle illegal aliens to taxpayer subsidized college? Liberals would consider that policy racist, while conservatives see it as common sense.

I remember when my kids were toddlers being told that the best way to teach them proper grammar was not to correct them but rather just answer back with correct English. If the little tyke said “Daddy go work?” I would answer “Yes, Daddy is going to work.”
We must start doing the same thing with the Progressives Left who are continuously raping the English language. When one of those little Progressive toddlers says “Daddy not give free tuition to undocumented immigrants?” simply reply “Yes, Daddy does not want to give free tuition to illegal aliens.”.

They should all be apprehended and put to work on the southern border defenses before being deported to the far south of Mexico.
It must be tough being a teacher of a class with undocumented students. You have no idea who submitted an assignment, no way of knowing who to return it to, and report cards which get mailed to ‘null.’

The problem is when they are living in the shadows, they are still sucking our life’s blood from our veins. They vote, they use free services to the detriment of others, they get EBT, WICs, EITC and a host of other gibsmedats.
This doesn’t even include the robbing, raping, drunk driving murders or any other heinous crimes they commit also.
Are there no schools in their home country ?
These people are not UNDOCUMENTED. They are ILLEGAL ALIENS.
So it’s now racist to only provide an education to citizens.
Well let’s just bring all those people over from Uganda, Ethiopia and every other country and give them a college education too. Then ... just maybe, we won’t need to feed them.
We’ll let them live in Gaffer’s place since he/she is feeling so generous.
