I don't see what the problem is, the govt. will find something else to tax to make up for the loss of revenues......they always do.

I can think of tons of ways to make up for the loss. Simply increase the taxes on natural gas, water, electricity, gasoline, local property taxes......etc.......There, problem solved!

As for your loss of business, you've got unemployment insurance.........

The Indiana/Illinois border (on the Indiana side) is a sea of outlets of booze, tobacco, motor fuel, and fireworks. I wonder why that is....

That is why leftists want the national government and the UN to control everything. There will be no place to hide if they get their way.

Somebody should explain to these people exactly who is responsible for this, the political party, and most important what ideology is at play here.

Maybe take out several full page ads in the local newspapers as well.

I don’t know about how things work where you are, but up here, even though small business owners pay into the unemployment insurance system, they cannot draw from it. No kidding.

Back in the 60s I worked at an auto plant in Ohio. At every shift change there were entrepreneurs selling low tax Kentucky cigs out of car trunks.

And that was when the increment was probably 5 cents (at most) per pack.
