So, instead of calling her ‘Typhoid Mary’ can we call her ‘Keystone Mary?’

She can go back to LA and live in her moms basement and go on Jenny Craig....

And leave the 2.5 million dollar home on East Capitol St. in DC? Heck her husband
has a thriving Real Estate business there. She’ll search for a lobbying job or
something similar is my guess.

False drama, so the donkeys can turn this into a WIN for Landrieu and point to her extraordinary skills in pushing legislation.

The 60th vote for Obamacare gets tossed under the bus when she’s no longer useful. If this is the way they treat their own can imagine what they intend to do with you?

Mary Landrieu has served in the Senate for 18 years, but only when it comes to doing what is politically expedient to save her bacon does she do what's right for the people of Louisiana.
Sorry, Mary. A day late and a dollar short!
To: Jim Noble
The question is not can Landrieu get to 60, it is can Cassidy get to 67? Neither will be possible.
To: SeekAndFind
Nobody and I mean nobody I know gives a “Democrat's rear end (Rat's a$$)” I she gets the 60 or not, she's done for.

If she even got the votes, cant eboma just stop it somehow?59? It's about protecting Ebama (from not having to veto), not Landrieu

Excuse me, did you say “served” in the Senate? Didn’t you mean “plundered”?

Cassidy won't be a player. If Obama vetos it, Cassidy won't be a Senator until the next Congress, and this bill will die at the end of this session.
A new Congress can try again.

Jay Rockefeller shouldn’t care — he didn’t run for re-election — but, I guess a RAT-Commie-Obama-bootlicker is one forever.

Yeah....I pretty much knew this....it’s a damn shame we send our ‘citizens’ to DC and if they stay there more than one term they get hooked on the DC crack and won’t ever leave.....Newt Gingrich was this way, BTW.

The laugher is that it will pass with no problem as soon as the GOP takes over.

The big question is whether there will be seven new yes votes in the Senate. I think the House override should be doable.

Sounds like they need 67, not 60.
60 gets past the fillibuster,
67 gets past a veto.

To borrow a phrase from Madame Secretary:
“What difference does it make?”
67 is really the crucial number.
That’s how many votes you need to override Soetoro’s veto.
