As Guy Benson wrote, President Barack Obama will address the country on Thursday night to announce his sweeping, unprecedented decision to use executive authority to enact portions of an immigration reform bill that could not pass Congress. It will be, in fact, a move that Obama previously believed was beyond the realm of his authority to perform.
There’s just one problem. If you’re hoping to see this critical, all-important address to the public on a proposal that Just. Can’t. Wait… you’re going to be disappointed.
“President Barack Obama will announce his highly anticipated plan to deal with millions of illegal immigrants tomorrow night,” Media Bistro reported. “While the cable news networks will carry the 8pmET announcement, the broadcast networks — deep into November sweeps — will not.”
According to network insiders, the White House did not request time from the networks for tomorrow night’s primetime speech. But because it comes at 5pmPT the network evening newscasts will have to update their programs.
There is one tiny exception to the broadcast networks passing on the opportunity to carry Obama’s speech, however. While none of the major broadcast networks will cover Obama’s speech live, there is one network that will: Univision. And Obama’s address just happens to air right before the Latin Grammy Awards.
Surely, this is not about favoritism, though. Univision’s lead anchor, Jorge Ramos, does seem like an impartial actor without a political ax to grind.

Given their allies in all the right places, it’s hard to imagine that the White House is exactly inconsolable over their snub by the broadcast networks.
The media will instead show the video of the football player hitting his wife in the elevator, ferguson riots, the school “shooting”, anything to distract us and the American people from what this dictator Obama is doing to destroy America,

They won’t carry it because it’s more blatant protection by the media of “The One”. Just like his usual Friday decrees being the coward he is, he’s basically going to announce he is a Monarch and to hell with the country.

Because it does harm the president. Most Americans oppose Amnesty and this petty jab at the Republicans for winning the midterms is going to be a colossal embarrassment to Dear Leader.

You have to go on Univision. This diverts the Latinos attention away from watching Ferguson burn.

The GOP ought to hire Kim Kardasian to display her greased up badonkadonk on the steps of the capitol, and when enough cameras are there do a press conference.

I am ready for that man, bigtime. Imagine a few million armed and ready citizens storming the White House, there is absolutely nothing they could do about it not that the cops or military ever would. I know a lot of cops and vets and they hate this son of a bitch more than anybody. It would be extremely easy to remove him from office and place him under arrest for treason if we got organized. Have a different kind of “million man march”.
Networks think they are safe with Obama,,they don’t understand he does things in steps,,and he continues to cultivate sympathetic friendships in the international media loop. Pretty soon King Obama himself will be telling his followers not to listen to the US networks......

Any opposition to the Emporeror Obama’s Decree will be deemed “RASSISS!! by the Mainstream Media.
And any in the Mainstream Media that dare not comply will soon be jobless.

They don’t want to broadcast this speech, the people would then KNOW what is happening. Instead, they will only hear the arguing between sides, and decide they hate the arguing more than the little dictator and his dictates.

How does Washington or better yet, obozo propose to sort them out to make his announcement EQUAL to all nationalities? I’d love it if all others were left out and began a protest movement....
