From a former Republican Senate majority leader to an incoming one, Trent Lott has this advice for Mitch McConnell: Deal “sternly” with renegade conservatives and quickly “coopt” new GOP senators so they don’t drift over to the obstructionist side of the party.

Trent Lott is a real piece of work. How can there not be a 3rd Party when the movement to kick out conservatives from the GOP grows stronger and stronger with each passing election. Isn't it time to abandon the GOP and all it House Members who continually elect John Boehner as Speaker?
