‘Never judge a book by it’s cover’, maybe he has been hungry and now overcompensates with food. So my guess is he is paying it forward due to experience...or not. Most people who are generous have done without at some point.
I was giving him kudos for helping someone even if he couldn’t empathize. But after I read the entire story he says when he was a kid there were times when his mother had a hard time finding him and his sister food. So, he does know what it’s like. God bless this man.
If those on here condemning this woman would read the whole story they’d be a little more understanding. She’s on welfare and was several days away from getting her check. It gives the amount of welfare and it ain’t much. They’d been out of food for 3 days. She went to the store with $1.25 to buy eggs but they cost more than that. So, she put 5 eggs into her pocket. They broke. And employee saw her take the eggs and asked her if she had taken them and the woman told the truth.
So, if she had gone to jail I guess it would have for breaking store merchandise. But can you imagine how defeated she felt when she tried to steal 5 eggs to feed the kids in her charge and they broke? God help these people.
