Add this up. This required four Greenpeace idiots to fly in (figure $9k for round-trip tickets), a couple of days in a hotel there ($1500). Meals ($700), and a jeep to get out there ($400 for rental and fuel). Someone had to approve the budget expenditure and allow the money to be spent out of the general fund. Whoever signed the expenditure....needs to be let go.

No mea culpa will suffice. This act is clearly and specifically consistent with the Greenpeace agenda.
Certainly they view the so called lines as an abuse of the natural environment.
Greenpeace has never demonstrated any respect for human intervention nor have they in this instance. This act is a clear and specific assault on the human activity that the lines represent.
They have overstepped the line, jumped the shark and otherwise destroyed their political capital. The only appropriate response is to abandon this derelict organization as anathema to civilized culture.
Let them be cursed today, tomorrow and always.
