I’m expecting McConnell to announce ‘power sharing’ with the Democrats myself.

Makes a lot of sense, since the Dems are so agreeable to “power share” with the Repubs. /s

Won’t matter. With oil sitting at less than $60 a barrel...zero chance they will build the sands pipeline.

The Stoopid Party will find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

McConnell please go away, stop posturing that you will do anything. Because you have your marching orders from Valerie Jarret. Valerie Jarrett is nothing more than Jezebel of the Old Testament times - a real wicked women that destroyed a nation.

I should think McConnell would have more priorities than that.

Sorry, folks, but I see Obama’s agenda rolling on unabated. A Republican majority in both houses doesn't mean squat.

Never underestimate the potential treachery of an appeasing, quisling RINO. I recall Trent Lott’s power sharing deal in the Senate with Tom Daschle when the Republicans had a majority. It is no wonder this dipwad has recently resurfaced savaging Ted Cruz.

No...
The first act of the new congress should be to contact their counterparts in the UK to have the Churchill bust returned to Washington, D.C.

THAT debate should be the bestest kabuki theater of the season.

McConnell knows there is no way in hell to get 67 votes to over ride the coming veto.
But this should eat up days and days of next years Congressional Season and give him a conservative name tag in the MSM.

With oil sitting at less than $60 a barrel...zero chance they will build the sands pipeline.

The Keystone XL pipeline was first publicly proposed in Feb 2005. The price of oil back then was $45.

A pipeline isn't about producing oil, it is about moving it. It doesn't matter the total price, it matters the difference in price between the two ends. And we are not going to use less oil at $50~60 oil than we did at $100.

As usual the Republicans have blown this issue too. It’s now too late, the train has left the station with $60 a barrel oil. Leave it to Republicans to shoot themselves in the foot.

Gee, how will this play out? Let’s see.

Bill passes senate, is vetoed by the commie in chief and will receive 66 votes killing the bill. The 12 votes will be by rats up for reelection in 2016.

Politics as usual in DC. But no worries. McConnell will get it back on the next deal.....

First job is to trashcan McConnell and put Cruz in charge of the Senate. An added benefit of that will be watching on HDTV all the fifth-column MSM leftist talking heads explode, including Scott, Brian, David, Andrea, Judy, and Gwen... oh, and Lester, too.

Doesn’t matter. Obama will veto it.

The Turtle’s first job will be to prep the battle space for the GOP Establishment by shutting down any opposition from senators with conservative ideas.

His second job will be to “reach out” to Democrats with a sympathetic hand and lots of concessions.

His third job will be to set himself up for his next job on K Street after he loses control of the Senate in 2016.

It’s getting the routing nailed at this point. Look at the maps of the track. They can employ plenty of folks to get this started.

The Republicans have been dealt a good hand and have a huge opportunity to change the destructive path the country is on. Its a monumental political gift horse.

But you don’t need a crystal ball to see another failure in the making from the Stupid Party.
