The way I understand the deal is that the IRS is the ‘enforcement arm’ to collect for the Obamacare fine/tax thing and as we all know, the IRS has more ways to collect from us monies due them then just tax returns. I might be wrong on this but that is the way I understood it to be.

The IRS has already shown that it is a lawless organization. It is unwise to depend on legalistic reasoning to avoid payments.

The "fine" is subject to interest and penalties over the years.The IRS can levy your bank accounts or seize other assets to collect interest and penalties. Wanna fight that in court? Oops, you have no money left to pay the lawyers.

They will get the money they want regardless of laws to the contrary.

yes and when you pay what you owe they will apply the check to the fines and penalties first THEN the taxes.

And then when you don't pay they will take your stuff and throw your ass in jail for tax evasion.
