Wrongly Pointing Fingers (Reply: You Got Nailed by Google)
Washington Post ^ | December 23, 2014 | Eugene Robinson

Posted on 12/23/2014 6:32:24 AM PST by C19fan

It is absurd to have to say this, but New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, activist Al Sharpton and President Obama are in no way responsible for the coldblooded assassination of two police officers in Brooklyn on Saturday. Nor do the tens of thousands of Americans who have demonstrated against police brutality in recent weeks bear any measure of blame.

A disturbed career criminal named Ismaaiyl Brinsley committed this unspeakable atrocity by himself, amid a spree of insane mayhem: Earlier in the day, he shot and critically wounded a woman he had been seeing; later, on a subway platform, he shot and killed himself.

I guess Mr. Robinson never heard of google. I googled eugene robinson giffords and this link came up:

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/brad-wilmouth/2011/01/09/wapo-s-eugene-robinson-joins-olbermann-linking-giffords-shooting-poli

"Appearing as a guest on Saturday’s special edition of Countdown on MSNBC, Washington Post associate editor Eugene Robinson joined host Keith Olbermann in linking the violent attack on Democratic Representative Gabrielle Giffords to political rhetoric, presumably by conservatives, and suggested that such public figures must be careful to avoid inciting mentally disturbed individuals. Moments after noting comments by Pima County, Arizona, Sheriff Clarence Dupnik complaining about violent rhetoric on radio and television, Olbermann brought aboard Robinson for further discussion"

You have no shame Mr. Robinson? Is there a term when a simple google search blows up a POS article someone wrote?

Plus linking talk show hosts to that shooting was a BIG stretch. Linking de Blasio and others to the officers’ shooting is not. Apples and oranges.

Still, the doofus is a hypocrite.

It was Sara Palin’s fault.

Truth to these progressives is based on their belief system, not facts. When they write, they are just telling stories that match their belief system.

“Linking de Blasio and others to the officers’ shooting is not. “

Obama, Blasio, our AG and others have said that the cause of killing police officers is just. Witness how the crowds go down the street shouting kill the cops. This last dude was just seeking his glory in that environment. Everyone from Obama down to the 18 year old student from NYC college has blood on their hands.

The communists are celebrating ...

From 03/26/2010 - "Tea Party Thugs" by Eugene Roginson:

The tea party movement is fueled by rhetoric that echoes the paranoid ravings of the most extreme right-wing nutcases. When tea party leaders talk about the threat of "socialism" and call for "a new revolution" and vow to "take our country back," they can say they are simply using vivid metaphors. But they cannot plausibly claim to be unaware that there are people - perhaps on the fringe of the movement, but close enough - who give every sign of taking these incendiary words literally.

And does anyone doubt that the movement attracts the kind of people who take these words literally?

Yes. It is clear that some time between 2010 and now Mr. Robinson has changed his opinion regarding the dangers of incendiary speech.

That HAS to be the answer. I mean, he just CAN'T be a hypocritical, leftist, Obama-ass-kissing, jag-off, CAN he????

Guess that doesn’t apply to Holder, Deblasio and Sharpton huh?”

That is his email address, and I encourage others to send similar.

Robinson is a lying propagandist.

I watch the guy on the Morning Joe show which I tune into very early at the gym because, one, it's a great way to get the heart rate up and, two, I want to know what the enemy is saying.

Robinson strikes me more as a pathetic dope than a shrewd liar or dissembler. He comes in with his conclusions drawn and mumbles, squawks and maunders his way through hapless statements of self-support.

In this he reminds me of Juan Williams, another supposed black 'intellectual,' who will also argue inanely (in some cases seeming only to hope to take up air time) and almost invariably toward the wheedling, leftist, victimist ends.

Their manner of thinking and argument strikes me as similar to many products of the Arab/Persian Middle East. They have lived their whole lives with rumor and inuendo, and place utterly no importance on any quality resembling Truth.

They are firm in their conclusions and will say anything to affirm themselves or even just to drown out an opposing voice.

But it's the official Dim-progressive racist talking point.

The saddest parrot to try it in the last few days was Juan Williams.
Poor guy is pathetic. Spouting nonsense in the middle of an adult discussion.

While this is serious, I did get a chuckle out of a couple of the commenters. One said that Eugene Robinson could not be wrong. Another responded that yes, he could; he proves it every time he writes a column.

What utter nonsense Of course Obama Holder Sharpton DeBlazio have some reposnisibility for the deaths of the officers. All of them used the deaths of two criminal for political purpose to whip up large groups of their core supporters. You side with and incite mobs you share responsibility for what those mobs cause.
