Seems he’s just following the typical liberal democrat war plan.
1.) Put up a flag
2.) Declare victory (or end of hostilities)
3.) Go home
The liberal media will run interference for them as the countries devour themselves and collapse in our aftermath....
We can expect the slaughter of tens(if not hundreds) of thousands of people at the hands of the Taliban as they reestablish their control and create a Radical Islamic Theocracy based on Sharia Law.

U.S. casualties will not be covered by the media. The chaos will not be “news.” What is happening to our success in Libya? It is not interesting to the press.

So now he’ll turn his back on Afghanistan and in six months it will devolve into ISIS-like barbarism too. But he’ll boast that he ended the war.

I recall a similar declaration regarding a certain southeast Asian country. We all know how that turned out...though I doubt Congress will have to tie dear leader’s hands if it happens in the next two years.
Sarge, you gotta look at this from a historical perspective. It doesn’t make it easier or better. But it is what it is.
Throughout time, massive numbers of people have intentionally gone down the path to national suicide and the result is always death and suffering. They take lots of innocent and better people to hell with them. And every couple hundred years or less, they repeat the process.
Half of America is now fully insane. Probably 3/4 when you count all the abject morons still making excuses here and elsewhere for more liberal Republicans and liberal actions.
There are not enough of us to change that course and it WILL happen again. Nature will take it’s course, most of them and some of us will die. We will regain the upper hand. Life will improve dramatically. A generation of three will pass and the process begins again because people thing ‘it can’t happen here’.
None of what we/conservatives have done or stood for was in vain. Because without us, the survivors would have nothing to model a rebuilt world around.
