GOP lawmakers preparing changes to immigration system (the smell of betrayal is in the air)
Fox News ^ | December 27, 2014

Interest in reforming the immigration law remains high as Republican lawmakers prepare bills that would make changes to the current system.

President Obama received harsh criticism after proposing an executive action steering clear from congressional approval to halt deportation for nearly four million immigrants. However, Republicans remain up to the task to enact their own proposals into the bill.

Your guys are the people you advocate and vote for. If you were conservative, you’d advocate tossing liberals regardless of party, not playing proven over 30 years losing games of ‘we’ll get’em next time but we gotta suck it up this time’.

You sucked it up and they fully backed Obama. Just as we told you they would. You did it. You. Own it.

You can dodge all you like. You addressed nothing I said, all of which is factual. Same crap your crew has done for years. Thats why so many have woken up and left your camp for ours. You disgust them now too with your excuses.

I do.

RATs first (wherever possible) RINOs next (wherever possible). You've got to fight with the "Army" you've got.

...left your camp for ours

You don't have a camp.

The Republican primary voters seem forever fixated on betrayal. It’s all they know.

That's because in "open primaries"...they're not Republicans.

No you don’t. Words mean things. You advocate electing GOP regardless of how liberal because you think the dem is worse. You just elected a bunch of them with your and your buddies collective efforts.

I don’t need to get your approval of ‘my camp’ or ‘our camp’. It exists without your permission or my mentioning it just fine.

Who said you did?

Your camp is invisible, I assume all you can do is come out of the sticks and start literally murdering most elected officials, because you have not positioned yourself to do much of anything else except allow Obama to win.

Pick one. I have a camp, but it’s invisible, or It doesn’t exist. I dunno what the point of this discussion is when you simply create a new state of reality with each new post. Typical liberal behavior.

Hey, their your words. Own them.

Patterns, past records, past votes, what they are doing, not what they are saying. All these things indicated more betrayal and sellouts. The past Congress tied the hands budget wise on the new congress for a significant period of times. The same leaders of the new Republican congress were the ones who wrote, and slithered through the recent budget sellout.

My question is when your saviors arrive in a couple of weeks and sell you out again will you notice or care you have been had—again. Most my Party regardless crowd could care less about being betrayed or want to continue on the same worn path of doing the same thing, complain and then go vote (R) regardless of what they have done.

Then you get those, we must change from within crowd. How’s that working out? How do you change a party from within when every lever of power is controlled by the radical left? You can’t. A third party is not the solution, but the rapid and quick death of a non-confrontational go along get along, not going to engage, no ethics, and willing to sellout on any issue parties quick death is very desirable.

The Republicans are a compromised party, they are ran by liberals, ours and the countries true enemy. This party must die quickly and a new opposition party formed to fill the void and bring opposition to the liberal agenda. Conservatives within the party will have to make some hard choices in the next few years on their continued association with a clearly liberal/socialist lite party. At some point a drivel and then an Exodus will occur in the Republican party. There will be some die-hards who will never leave the comfort of the plantation and still believe the lies.

For the most part the Republican liberals themselves are doing the majority of the work in the destruction of the party with their continued lies and betrayal. This last election people wanted someone to stop obama and voted for the Republicans to do so and the Republicans promptly rolled over like a whipped dog.

Die hard conservatives on this forum and in other places, Republican voters for decades are deciding enough, we are done with the lies. The question is what will be the betrayal which will push the majority of conservatives who care more about the country than the Party out of the Party. Then conservatives in and out of what is left of the GOP must act quickly with a coup-de-grace on the GOP and bring forth a new and vibrant conservative 2nd party option for the country. No more, it’s the system and we must do the same ole, same ole yarn.

I’m from the “change from within” school. I’ve been watching this “third party” crap for 20 plus years, since even before H Ross Perot.

I believe the TEA-partiers are that movement. If there is viable 54th third party in the wings, they had better get with the program, otherwise, it appears their plan is to let the US economy and government collapse.

I’m pretty sure the Taxpayer’s Party, the Constitution Party, the Reform Party etc etc etc, are all talk and no action.

Unless they’re planning on violent revolution, their main mission in every case is to all at once, convince most of the Republican voters, and enough clueless unenrolleds to vote for their candidates in a landslide and overwhelm both the RATs and the GOP.

Either that, or peck away at it piecemeal for a hundred years.

By the way:

The Republicans are a compromised party

Not only that, virtually all US institutions have been compromised by the Marxists. The schools, universities, former news industry, entertainment, the courts, ALL city governments, most state executive-branch departments...all un-named faceless LIFER bureaucRATs from top to bottom....all RATs.

How does your 53rd third party overcome that? I see the salvation of the US, not in a conservative "third party" but by the urgent and unified action of the Red States.

Does that sound RINO to you?

Rock you didn’t read my post. I am not talking about yet another 3rd party. Rock do you see any opposition at the national level by the Republican party? I haven’t seen anything in the obama administration and I have seen nothing but retreat, bipartisan surrender, go along get along liberalism in Washington by the GOP since 1996. So tell me do we have a 2nd party in opposition to the liberal left? If you honest you know the answer is a resounding no.

We need a 2nd party to counter balance the absolute corruption and destruction that the liberal democrat/republican uniparty is currently engaged in. If wanting an opposition party is crazy call me that, but currently there is no opposition party. The both want the same things the only question is the bill they send to you and me. It would seem you are content to work from within until they stick a fork in you and pull you out of the boiling kettle, at which point they will still tell you they are Reagan conservatives, just believe in them, why they would never lie! I’ll pass on that.

The liberals that control the Republican party are not going away. They are perfectly content to destroy the country to retain their place at the $$trough and advance the cause of their fellow travelers. If you can’t remove an infection sometimes you have to amputate. The Republican party has turned into a gangrene, festering puss filled cancer on America. We have massaged, band aided and played with this mess for 30 yrs. and allowed it to get so bad you can’t recognize a Republican from a Democrat in Washington.

Many of the Republicans for life regardless of their betrayals will wail and moan that the democrats are far worse. I agree, they are but you can’t engage the democrats when the alleged party of opposition the Republicans agree with everything the democrats trot out except the price tag. There is no opposition, just collusion and destruction. The true believers in the almighty Party seem to think the Party will actually fight for them for some insane reason. Why would you expect your enemy to fight for your political beliefs, that is no logical and the Republican Party is in no way conservative, but very much a liberal little me-me of the democrats at the national level.

It’s time for the Republican party to die as a party, it must. It won’t reform or offer a different direction so what is the point of it’s continued existence. People like you said the world would end if they killed the Federalist party and the Whig party, it didn’t. Conservatives need to kill off the GOP or force it publicly to merge with their bed buddies the democrats and be prepared to step in and fill the void which will be left.

It’s time for the Republican party to die as a party,

You're very passionate in your debate, BUT!

The Republicans just won a monumental historic landslide all across the US. More governorships, more legislature, both houses of Congress. The RATs lost over 700 seats nation wide....probably even more when you analyze the local levels.

It's not time for the GOP to die, it's time for the GOP to become the Grand Old Party again. By the conservatives taking it back. The Republican voters are conservative by the look of their platforms.

It's the RINOs in leadership that need to go. Olympia Snowe couldn't take it any more....as Queen RINO, she was ashamed to be a, well...RINO. Just make the others follow suit. Remember, the "Republicans In Name Only" are simply democRAT not-so-secret agents working to control and neutralize the party.

We've gotten rid of the RATs, now we need to get rid of the RINOs.

At this point what choice did the people have? And the Republicans were out there in force talking trash about how they were going to stop obama. The suckers bought it—again. What did they do when they got the chance to stop obama and the democrats, bent over and grabbed ankles without a whimper of opposition except for poor Cruz.

The RINO leadership is not going anywhere. They control the levers of power. If you want to be a Republican you dance to the liberal tune they toot: vote like they tell you, give them money like they tell you, support who they nominate for you and otherwise you will be told in no uncertain terms this is no big tent unless we say it is and keep your conservatism to yourself and shut the hell up, you have to rights in this Party.

There are two choices...take over the democrat party, or take over the Republican party.

There is nothing else....which makes more sense?

Like I said, the salvation probably will come from the Red states.
