Bill Cosby reportely hires private investigators to dig up dirt on accusers

Bill Cosby has hired a battalion of private investigators to dig up dirt on his many accusers, The New York Post has learned.

The comedian, fighting an onslaught of accusations that he sexually assaulted more than two dozen women over many years, is paying six-figure fees to private investigators for information that might discredit his alleged victims.

Multiple sources confirmed that Cosby, through his Hollywood attorney Martin Singer, is implementing a scorched-earth strategy in which anything negative in his accusers’ pasts is fair game.

At least one Glendale, Calif.-based firm with a half-dozen former LAPD detectives on staff is muckraking for Cosby, a source said.

Cosby settled out of court for the Constand claim of drugging/rape, when she brought forth 13 more Jane Does in support of her case, and describing his particular rape method.

There was some actress who wrote about an attack in her autobiography (I believe) about 10 - 15 years ago. The publisher removed the story due to fear of a lawsuit.

“So what are you posting about, you appeared to have made it up entirely.”

Thank you for your post. Seems as though there are a number of people on FR who are afflicted with “Celebrity Disease.” They simply don’t think “celebrities” can be guilty of anything. Then there’s the cadre of the “so what’s the big deal here, after all they’re just women.”

"At least one Glendale, Calif.-based firm with a half-dozen former LAPD detectives on staff is muckraking for Cosby"

If I were a LAPD Detective, I would be looking for the names of female friends of Bill Cosby who have, over the years, disappeared without a trace. Believe me, an amateur anesthesiologist like Cosby couldn't knock out that many women without making an occasional mistake and accidentally killing at least one of them.

If it's true what they're saying about Bill Cosby, his "mistakes" are now buried somewhere in the California desert.

That was Janice Dickinson.

“Dickinson says that she tried to include the sexual assault in her 2002 autobiography, but that when she submitted a draft to her publisher HarperCollins, Cosby and his lawyers threatened them, forcing them to remove her account. The book’s ghostwriter, Pablo Fenjves, confirmed that Dickinson had told him the sexual assault story back in 2002 for the book, according to an interview conducted by inTouch. Dickinson later wrote an op-ed for Entertainment Tonight explaining the alleged incident in greater detail, and supplied TMZ with Polaroids she claims to have taken of Cosby in his patchwork robe “after she took the pill but before she blacked out.”

Cosby’s lawyer, Marty Singer, said last Wednesday: “Janice Dickinson’s story accusing Bill Cosby of rape is a lie,” and claimed he was never contacted about the story inclusion in her book.’

I have trouble with any woman who has to wait decades to report an assault. Something smells here and I think it’s money!

Bill just needs to shut up.

Too bad for you argument that Cosby has already settled with one accuser, and that while the accusers number in the dozens, and have support, including a republican DA that believed him guilty of the 2004 rape that he oversaw, but hard to convict, that no one supports Cosby.

Fifty years in the business, an industry giant, Hugh Hefner’s best friend, “America’s Dad”, yet the people who know him best, who would know the 50 years of rumors and accusations, and who would have seen him in action, are not surprised at all that he is being revealed as a serial rapist over a 45 year period.

We saw Michael Jackson, and Bill Clinton, and others, but I don’t recall ever seeing a man shut out like Cosby is being shut out, by the people who would know, or suspicion the truth of these accusations.

Interesting, isn’t it, that when people see actors portraying wholesome, moral, upstanding characters on stage or screen, they tend to believe they act the same way in their private lives, but when actors portray evil, violent characters, there is never the automatic assumption that they are themselves evil or violent.

What strikes me funny is this happens when Bill goes out and tells the blacks how lazy they are and how they need jobs..and all.

There are two reasons why I'm skeptical regarding these accusations. One is summed up by the quote I included above.Just how happy are the folks at Rat Party Headquarters when they hear a famous, well respected black guy saying this? I say not at all happy. And imagine what race pimps like Sharpton think of it.Possible motive for a smear campaign? You betcha! The second is his wealth.Millions, and millions, and millions, and millions of dollars in net worth.Motive for a group of individuals, even a large group,to concoct false accusations? You betcha!

the left just smeared Herman Cain by looking into his past and claiming that he had a affair.
I think that is what happened it haS been seven years since Herman Cain ran for the presidency so I might not be remembering correctly what happened. I wish Herman cain could of been are fist black president.

Good! GO BILL!
A bunch of people nobody’s heard of say nothing to the police, continue to date, see, and work for him, then accuse him of rape after 30+ years?
Happy 15m of fame, ladies! Hope you liked it!
Now I hope the world learns about YOU!
