From another thread:
Marsha Blackburn should be asked unofficially if she would be willing, and if she says yes, then she should remain quiet while Conservatives prepare to appoint her.
She has the right experience and the right stuff to ascend to Speaker.
And it is important that Conservatives put her name out there while she shuns the cameras and mics. But Conservatives must know ahead of time that shes willing to accept.
We need to let our reps hear from us. If four votes can be generated to remove him there is a chance of getting someone strong put in his place. We still have a couple of weeks to be a factor.
The key may be the new members who have to decide if they will be true to their campaign rhetoric, or play it safe in hopes of creating a career path within the establishment.
