Companies with more than 100 full-time employees need to comply or face fines.
...
Companies with more than 100 full-time workers must offer affordable health insurance to at least 70% of their staff. This "employer mandate" was supposed to take effect in 2014, but the Obama administration delayed it to this year.
And those that don't comply face hefty penalties.
Companies will be fined if they don't offer coverage and even just one of their workers gets subsidized insurance on an Obamacare individual exchange. For 2015, the fine is $174 a month times the number of full-time employees (minus 80 workers).
But that penalty is higher if the company offers insurance, but it's not considered affordable or comprehensive. In that case, the employer pays $261 a month for each employee who received subsidized coverage on an individual exchange.
Employer insurance offerings now have to pass two tests.
...
A full-time employee is one who works at least 30 hours a week.

Wait til next year.
Given the complexity of this evil mess, it’s easy to see why the IRS needed 15,000 additional accountants and attorneys to administer it.
And it still won’t work. ;-)
It’s working really well for those 15,000 six figure salary employees.
#outrage
It looks like if you do not try at all, the penalties are less than if you try and do not meet their definition of affordable, whatever that is.
And there is not a damn thing we can do about it. The GOP is totally worthless and have been for years.
Which will lead to fewer employees. Where are all those people who said without 0bamacare people will be dying in the streets? ACA does not mean you’ll get care; find a doctor or clinic that will take it ....
Yes, which is the point, I think. As Bernie Sanders said, this Obamacare is designed to be the stepping stone to creating single payer like Canada.
Isn’t Socialism wonderful?
They passed it. We found out what's in it. We don't like it.
Now repel it.
Actually you are able to exempt yourself on religious grounds..define your own belief and who are they to question your supposed constitutional right?
I see this a the biggest issue of the 2016 election. And it will go like this.
Democrat: over the last two years republicans in congress raised rates on those under the “affordable care act” by 600%. President Clinton believes that by turning to a single payer system, those rates will come down by over 700%.
MSM: if republicans didn’t go after Hillary Clinton in 1994, insurance rates today would be at 1990 levels.
Nowhere to be found, because they succeeded in getting one of the worst pieces of legislation passed in American history. Only certain things like Prohibition, NFA '34, GCA '68 and FOPA with the Hughes Amendment in '86 can compare.
But but GDP was 5% last quarter......... Obunga common core math.
“It will never be repealed. That was the whole point of passing it, and why the GOP-e is happily entrenching it further. Parasite bastards!”
Cry Baby is playing it low hoping that Roberts will kill it, so he cann play both sides of the fence.
