I think I'll call his office every day and ask him to resign for the good of the country.

28 not 25, and non-voting Democrats elected Boehner.

Some of the Boner fan club are just waiting in the wings to rush in and vote for him. They don’t want to join the group of Kamikazes that will be walking the plank when Boner is re-annointed as King.

I’m sure some Freeper will list the names of the Fake Conservatives that
voted for Bonehead. May the primary season begin for them today!
Hopefully some will be Cantored out.

Bad headline. The no vote was 28, Trey Gowdy didn’t bother to show up.

Another rigged game. Those who couldn't get re-elected if they voted for Boehner didn't vote for him. It was most probably decided ahead of time which 25 or so were most in danger if they voted for Boehner.
I'm disgusted.

I think this state allows independents to vote in the Republican primary. If they do, I’m leaving the party.

There were 28 GOP votes against Boner, one short of 29 needed for a second round.

There was probably a back room deal for those opposed to Boehner to come up just short so that they could make their point in exchange for better committee assignments and items on the Tea Party legislative agenda to be fast-tracked.
To: C19fan
Just goes to show that the Republican Party and the Democrat Party, by and large, have the same values and vote the same way. Boner is for amnesty, Obamacare, and more government and less freedom for every American. He agrees with Obama on almost everything.
Uniparty.

The protest vote was planned and completely staged. The caucus leadership allowed some of the Members to vote against Boehner. The outcome of the vote was never in question.
