Terminology and Change (Vanity)

For several years the terms GOPe and RINO have been used to describe less than conservative members of the Republican Party. As of today those terms are dead. There are no RINOs and there is no GOPe. There are only Republicans and the GOP. The Party has chosen their future. When only 25 members of the house GOP are willing to listen to their constituents and vote in a principled manner to remove a known betrayer, that tells you all that you need to know about the party as a whole. In my mind, there is nothing that can save the GOP. Clearly principled conservatives have been relegated to a very small minority and there is no room for them in the GOP. Those who voted for Boehnor make up the majority of the party. They set the agenda and define the party. They behave almost exactly like the Democrats. They have sold out fir corporatism. Ask yourself, "Is this a party that represents me? Is this a group I am proud to be member of? Is this a group I can continue to support?"

It's time for a national leader to step and lead a new group. Inter-party insurgency doesn't work and has not worked. In fact ...think how much time, money, and effort has been spent supporting the GOP that could have been spent on new path.

I believe a new path will be successful once the right leader bravely steps forward. Better days will be ahead....they just won't happen as part of the GOP. Start pushing for wholesale change and for a new party. Support true conservatives and oppose weak leaders. Don't settle for good enough...or that's all you will ever get....as evidenced by the latest vote.
