A SOLDIER serving in the British Army has become the first and only transgender officer.
Saying she was “living an act” Captain Hannah Winterbourne, 27, decided to become a woman while on tour in Afghanistan reported The Mirror.
Winterbourne, an officer in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, began her transition in 2013 and is now the highest ranking trans soldier in the British Army.

I thought trans was short for transsexual or transgendered.
Its hard to keep up with all of the gender descriptions. In a world in which Facebook recognizes 56,different gender designations, I have fallen behind. I am binary in my thinking about just male and female. I will be sent to reeducation camp.
I have to say this in his defense. Women have been crossdressing for years. They wear their husbands or boyfriends jeans, shirts, etc and even wear them out and about. So if a guy want to wear a dress, (Although I don’t recommend it) he gets blasted and attacked for it. So if he wants to act like a girl, well, millions of girls act like boys so have at it. I don’t care

The difference is, a woman can pull off wearing man’s clothes. She probably won’t look as attractive, but she can still be perfectly presentable.
A man wearing women’s clothes is automatically a spectacle.

Maybe not. The primary characteristic i've seen in several of Kipling's poems is the clear understanding of the foolishness of human nature. This one, for example tells me that he understood the consistency of fools in our society all too well.

Very familiar with that. I think he would be appalled at just how far the society did in fact descend.
For example, that citizens or subjects could stand by and watch one of their soldiers (Lee Rigby) murdered in the street, and do NOTHING to help him.
