Interesting that at least some Fox News reports called it the “so-called” Freedom Summit. Anyone recall Fox calling it the “so-called” Democratic Party?
I understand the Des Moines local libtard MSM hyping the Democrat response to the Summit, but Fox snark surprised me.
Loved Newt’s speech. Will have to check out Bolton’s. Thanks for posting.
I am a Newt fan. On occasion he has stumbled but mostly he’s spot on and this speech was a bullseye.
The GOP is not interested in action or results. With a few notable exceptions of true conservatives like Cruz, Bolton, et al. the party office holders merely talk the party line that is dictated to them by moneyed special interests who want to preserve the status quo and/or “compromise” with the Dems. There’s no “beef” in the GOP. Its a soulless party with no convictions.

Newt was far above everyone else in substance and the #1 priority of the next President to save America and our Constitution.
I thought Newt was the best candidate in 2012. I think he’d be the best candidate in 2016. Our government has become so corrupted that I believe it will take someone like Newt, who knows the ins and outs of how the system works, to start fixing it. A “fresh face” or a relative newcomer in D.C. may not be savvy enough to recognize and correct the multitude of problems that exist. I believe Newt would have a distinct advantage in that regard. Any republican candidate would do well to solicit Newt’s mentorship.
