Will interstellar space travel save humanity? Scientists predict artificial homes in space will have to a become a reality - and say warp drives could be the answer The vast distances between solar systems combined with the speed-of-light limit puts severe constraints on the realities of space travel This could be overcome using some form of worm hole or warp drive Another world would likely have an environment that is unbreathable Terraforming is an option, but this would be challenging and expensive Interstellar-style spinning habitats would be a more sensible option

Genesis 1:28 - And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Worse.
New Jersey.
“we” doing something, or not being willing to do something, is a collective term unless you specifically mean ‘you and me’ which makes even less sense.
Its Obama-speak

“Its Obama-speak”
You are wrong and being disrespectful of those of “us” and “we” who have voluntarily joined together to protect and defend the Constitution and the citizens of the United States as Minutemen, Oathkeepers, veterans, and others. Likewise, it is also a matter of opinion as to whether or not “we” as individuals wish to band together for the common purpose of preserving humanity past the time when the Earth can no longer remain a safe habitat for humanity and our descendants. Given the scope of such an endeavor the joint participation of a multitude of people is mandatory for success, and the best means is a voluntary participation to preserve our legacy. If it were no collective of likeminded patriots, there never would have been a United States sheltering the right of people to live as individuals with an individual conscience of right and wrong.
They are NOT trying to get Obama to raise taxes for hopeless (impossible) causes like interplanetary travel of humans.
No private business or group of individuals is going to waste their $$$ on such a hopeless (impossible) cause.
Certainly not the Tea Party.
Only government can get $$$ to THROW AWAY like that by taking it from us.
LOL!
Well and truly stated. Kudos
Your profile page says you’re from Maryland. ... We forgive you. We know from that that it is not your fault.
That's very liberal of you.
Yup, here in Maryland we see tax $$$ thrown away on hopeless programs all the time, so this idea fits right in.
They *conservative* basis for this seems to be that :
1) Hiding in a cave or bunker from liberalism isn't good enough anymore , the illegals will find us and report us to the Death Panels.
2) That civil war or split up of the states that solves everything either wont happen or libs will win it
3) Mark Levin's amendment abolishing OTHER amendments either wont pass or wont work
So we need to gather our collect 'will'(whatever that means, from an above comment) to create a intergalactic space craft Noah's Ark style to take us to another habitual planet to escape earths planet wide liberalism , (preferable a planet with lots of carbon in the air would be best, carbon smells like... FREEDOM...DADADA)
We can split the cost six ways.
