As a Minnesotan I can attest that Pawlenty was a reasonably good Governor considering he had democrats in control of both houses of the MN legislature.
But, he is not a good at speaking and promoting the conservative principles which we need in tnis country. Consequently I cannot recall any epic battles that Pawlenty had which he championed against the DFL majority. He was more the quite type who chipped away at some of their obstructionism.
Walker, however, is a man of different characteristics. He is apparently willing to go to great lengths for causes he believes in. This was a risk which he took and was rewarded by three victories over opponents in elections - but more importantly he lifted the economy of his state out of bankruptcy. His predecessor was a corrupt politician who did not hesitate to spend money he did not have and then ‘steal’ money from other funds to cover it up.
That is why Walker is my man for now.
For me right now Cruz is my first choice and Walker is my second choice then Jindal and after that probably West.
How did he accomplish that? What was his approach?
Honest question. I'm not well-read on Walker.
