During her hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) asked, “Do you support the legalization of marijuana?”
“Senator, I do not,” Lynch replied.

In addition to lovingly supporting the White House Commie opening up the border so we can be further invaded by the world's poor and unknown, she is also on the wrong side of public desire to decriminalize marijuana...

She is a liar.

She is just saying what she thinks Republicans want to hear.

Once she is in, every bit of her testimony goes into the trash and the MSM will never point it out.

They should shoot her down as a matter of principal. We obviously do not nee a AG, we have been without one for 6 years now.

“The U.S. government should reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug so that scientists can conduct more research...”

They cannot do that without violating drug control treaties that we are signatories to. Of course, it was us who strongarmed the rest of the world into entering those treaties, but regardless, they have the force of law now until we withdraw from them.

The greatest fear Liberals have is that there will be too many people on this planet. Smoking marijuana reduces the sex drive. The Liberals love pot.

Wrong question. They should have asked if she thinks the States have the authority to legalize it.

Do you know this from first hand experience? I would highly disagree with your statement. In fact, I would conclude it can have the exact opposite effect.

For the life of me I can't understand why conservatives make pot a morality issue.

Why not go after opioids, benzodiazepines and alcohol instead? They are far more immoral, if morality can be assigned to a substance.

Those drugs kill people EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY IN EVERY STATE OF THE UNION.

And, they are common and legal.

Oh, did I mention physically addictive? It's not uncommon for people to DIE while quitting any of the 3, from withdraw effects alone.

Interestingly, Pot could supplant some of the use of those 3 without the deadly, addictive side effects.

Heavy pot use creates distorted minds.. Seems the especially heinous murders and such are often committed by pot smokers. Oh wait, here's ONE; Murder with a HAMMER:

Obama's high school pot dealer who he thanked for the 'good times' was beaten to death with a hammer by his gay lover

The Feds shouldn’t be in the business of drug regulation. This should be left up to the states.
If the Feds went out of the drug business, we wouldn’t need the DEA, and we could also reduce CIA, ATF, FBI drug realted activity. That would mean no more cocaine and opium drug imports by the DEA. No more DEA support of Mexican drug cartels.
Sure, we would have abuses in the states, but people would vote with their feet, and states with the best policies would benefit. We could also create different laws to suit the needs for people with different views on drug use.
When in doubt, keep the criminal Feds out of it.

Yep, it should have been a 10th Amendment question.
Telling that no one asked it that way.
